A symbol is something you wear on the top half of your body. It can be a necklace, bracelet, hair. Etc. symbols are used in most spells because they hold your powers. They are VERY important. And it also reminds you that you are special and not an ordinary person. You usually can't take off your symbol for more than two hours, but spells differ. If you take it off for more than two hours there will be consequences. It depends on the spell, but you may loose your power, or your tail, or both. But usually it's your power.
