Ackerman Pride:Niki's Story

To You in 2000 years....

The wind blew swaying lavender petals of flowers while doing so.  In the distance three silhouettes could be made out . Two young girls and one young boy. All around the age of nine or ten. A girl with short black hair and a red scarf was collecting wood while the other girl was busy taking a nap along with the boy. As the wind rustled the leaves of the tree A stray leaf fell upon the girl's nose waking her from her slumber. She stretched her arms over her head and let out a yawn.

"Look whos up" The girl with the red scarf known as Mikasa said with a small smile. The other girl known as Niki returned the smile while rubbing her neck. 

"Yeah sorry it just felt like such a good day to take a nap outside." said the ravenette while picking up some sticks along with Mikasa. After several minutes of stick collecting a small whine was heard from the boy who was still curled up under the tree. Niki, hearing this, made her way over to the boy and started to shake him awake.

"Eren....Eren....Eren!" The boy now known as Eran sat up and looked around.

"Where are we?" "Try asking us when your awake"Replied Mikasa. Niki smiled slightly and stood up offering a hand to Eren. "Eren were you crying?" Asked the younf girl after noticing the biy's tear stained face.

After little ways of walking the three came upon a garrison out post to see a familiar face. "Well well well look who it is?" Niki rolled her eyes and scoffed.

"What do you want Hannes?" The blonde man chuckled and ruffled Eren's hair, much to his displeasure "Oh nothing much , just wanted to see how old Dr.Jaeger was doing thats all." 

"Your breathe smells like boos" Eren gagged. Niki grew agitated 

"What do you think your doing getting drunk on the job!, What if the titans breach the wall!Then what will you do?Breathe in their faces !"Niki yelled Mikasa grabbed her sleeve and pulled her back a bit. \

"Listen kid those things have done nothing but scratch at the walls for over 100 years I highly doubt that they will make a move anytime soon" Replied the drunk blonde.

"I bet you ten gold pieces you will regret your words"Niki muttered as the three started heading on their way.

"Your on!" Niki sighed at the drunks reply.

Once again the little gang were on their way o their home when they heard the sounds of bells. Smiles immediately grew on Niki ans Eren's faces as the two ran down to the streets Mikasa close behind. But when thy got there it was not a sight to behold. The scouts were worn and bloody . Only returning with a fraction of their men. Niki only smiled a little as she saw the familiar faces of some of her favorite squad leaders and soldiers.She turned her head to see a soldier talking while crying to an old lady who had tears in her eyes. She immediately made her way over to her despite Her friends calls.

Niki's POV

I couldn't just stand there and let that old lady and and man stay miserable.I just couldn't.

"Tell me my son's sacrifice meant something!?"  I cut the soilder off by inputing my own reply.

"Of course it did!" My answer caught everybody off guard and suddenly everyone's attention was on me but I didn't care. "Every sacrifice is worth something and our son's was one of the greatest ones. For every titan we kill or every bit of information we earn is so many other lives saved.So know that you son scarified his life for the sake of you and humanity. Your son is a hero!" My words made the women sob but bare a smile as well.
