Marinette POV
In all honesty, I would have taken one slight glance from Adrian to be my birthday present this year. That's all I could wish for. But what I got was so much different.

I was sitting next to Alya as per usual when the brat (aka Chloe) came up to me and smirked. "So, it's your birthday. What did your parents get you, pink barbie dolls?" She giggled with Sabrina and I bared my teeth.

"Go away Chloe." (Oh the bitch came back. The very next day, thought she was a goner but the bitch came. Back.)

"Excuse me, do not talk to me like that, you do not have the right." She laughed and squealed loudly. "Adrikans, honey!" She threw her arms around his neck and Adrian Glanced at me.

Wait...

"Leave me alone, chloe." He said sharply and pushed her off. He walked towards me, pulling out a small box.

"Marinette, I'm sorry for all the times in the beginning when I hurt you and I'm sorry if I scare you. I mean you always stutter so... Anyway. Marinette, I've been slowly falling for you ever since I met you. I thought my heart belonged to another as I was falling but I realised that it still belonged to you."

I stared at him, my mouth gaping open.

"Happy birthday Marinette." He leaned in and pecked my cheek, handing me the box in the process.

I was still gazing at him even as he sat down. Chloe (lol I like wrote her name missing one letter and it auto corrected to clown😂😂 so ironic) looked absolutely offended.

"Open it girl!" Alya said, clinging to my arm. I looked down at the box and removed the bow. I bit my lip as I was taking off the lid, scared to see what it was. I pulled out a silver neck lace that had writing in cursive: falling in love with true identities. My eyes started to water and I sighed.

Hey guys sorry for being gone for a while! I haven't even watching miraculous lately but this afternoon I watched Lady Wifi and anti bug. I can't WAIT FOR SEASON TWO. Next chapter published will be an update on season 2.... Well as always, I love you guys and I'll see you next time. 😘👐
