Hellooo guys! Ok so now Jace isn't here. He's in England with his parents. School finishes the 10th because of regents as that stuff. So like one more week of school I guess.

Chapter 27- Broken promise

"Kevin!" I yelled as he stuck his tongue out playfully.

"Give me, my sketch book back!" I yelled running after him and he ran into Cole.

"Whoops!" Kevin yelled standing back up and running away while putting my sketch book in his shirt.

"Don't do that!" I exclaimed giving up but I see spencer. Maybe he'll help me.

"Spencer! Stop Kevin!" I yelled pointing at Kevin.

Spencer shrugged and went after Kevin but when he got my sketch book he ran away.

"You know what! FORGET THIS SHIT!!!" I yelled and went to sit down calmly. We decided on eating outside today and here we were.

'Hey princess :)' my phone beeped with a message from Jace.

'Hey, what's up?' I asked him.

'So you know, about summer vacation, I don't think I can come visit you' Jace wrote and I felt a piece of my heart break. I frowned immediately. I won't be able to see Jace the whole summer.

'Why? U pinky promised' I wrote still frowning.

'I know and I'm sorry I can't make it.'

'But why?' I wrote since he didn't answer.

'School stuff' he wrote. Why would he be doing anything for school during summer. They don't leave homework or projects because teacher are changed.

'What kind of school stuff?' I asked being nosy.

'Gotta go' he wrote and stopped texting me. What. The. Hell!

Great now I'm pissed off.

"What's wrong baby cakes?"Cole asked me and I smiled a little. No matter what Cole can make me smile. He pokes my cheek and calls me baby cakes again.

"I'm going to call YOU baby cakes now since you call me kitten." I tell Cole smiling at him. He nods and helps me up. I give him a quick hug taking him by surprise but he soon hugs me tight against him.

"That thing you said Jace was going to tell me. Was it that he can't come for summer vacation?" I asked Cole. He shook his head and I annoyingly ran my hand through my hair.

"I'm sure you'll find out soon enough." Cole replied and I nodded before spencer jumped on us.
