Chapter 4: Revelations

As the two of them approached the office they where met by another male. He was already waiting outside the headmistress' office. He was a half demon bread as they where called due to there dark skin color and the two demon like horns coming out from his head.
"You two are late!" Stated the man. Obviously he was angry because they had taken so long to get to the office, even if it was only seven in the morning. "Well let's hurry and get this over with. Don't know why I was called to this meeting, but will happy when it's all said and done." His words were starting to get to Rin, but Surge kept her calm and reassured her that it was not worth starting a fight right now.
As the three entered the office they where greeted happily Tatiana. "Ah I am glad to see you up and moving Rin." The three of them headed to the seats that were in front of her desk. "I am sure you are all wandering why I called you all here, and no you are not in trouble before we go much further." This brought relief to Rin and Surge as both thought they may be in trouble for the events from the other day with the dragon. "Now as you two know you have awoken a new power, that of the Dragoons. So has  Merser Hypith making a total of three awoken Dragoons. I am sure you are all aware this has not happened in a long time, but that dose not change anything. The main reason I called you all here is you will all be transferred to a special class. One that will be able to help you better understand you new powers and master them to the best of your ability."
"What do you mean by transferred?" Rin shouted in shock. "I didn't know anything about this let alone that it would mean leaving my friends."
"Please calm down miss Hono. This is not a punishment nor will you be leaving your friends." Reassured Miss Tatiana. "Your teachers will not be able to help you with this new power that has been unlocked. Due to that you will be placed with a special instructor you is more adapt at handling higher power outputs and will be able to aid you in the next level of your growth."
Though she said these words it still did not ease Rin entirely. "If you say so headmistress. I will do what you think is best." She responded reluctantly.
Surge knew what the headmistress said held some truth at least. After all he had been a Dragoon for about 4 months now and knew better than most that this was not a simple power to control. At that time he just agreed with the headmistress and so did Merser.
"Hey wait a minute?" Rin stated as a thought jumped in her head. "If your a Dragoon too why didn't you help when the dragon was attacking the school?" She inquired.
"Oh trust me. I would have if it was needed and I was watching everything from the shadows." Merser responded quickly. "Not like I need to answer you but if I don't I can tell I won't hear the end of it."
"Why you!" This extremely agitated Rin.
"Don't!" Surge looked at her with eyes that basically said. "Don't do it, you know how it will end." This was a good thing because this was angering the headmistress and nobody would like to see her get mad let alone serious in a fight.
"Now children. You shall meet your teacher for the new class." The headmistress said. As the three of them turned to the door they heard something that they all recognized. The sound of metal on metal touching the door noob. Only one teacher in the entire school had an arm of metal. At that moment a ting of fear ran down all there spines. They knew who it was even before the door opened and even if they were considered the strongest students two teachers were known to show no fear due to how long they've lived and what they've seen. Headmistress Tatiana was one the other walked in at that moment.
"Hello brats. Ready for the training of your lives?" He said with an evil grin. Sure enough it was Him, the one most knew as Sarge, but his real name was YenSin Rogh. "You three will call me Master YenSin or Sarge. No other name will do. Is that understood?"
In unison Surge and Rin responded. "Yes Master YenSin!" They did not want to anger him. Merser on the other hand just kind of looked at him almost anger. All he saw was an old man who had no right to teach Legends. "So you're the old fart everyone is afraid of. Don't see why?" Just as he finished his statement and before Rin or Surge could stop him YenSin was on top of him in a flash and looking down at him.
"Shall we have a problem?"  Merser could do nothing. The pure aura that was being giving off by him sent chills down his spine. Almost like if he tried to do anything he would be killed. "No Sarge."  He replied. "Good." He backed off and addressed all three. "Now. We will have our first class tomorrow. For the rest of today I want the three of you to head to town and spend the day getting to know each other. You will be training together you need to have some trust and understanding of each other before we start. Understood?" 
As quick as they could all three responded. "Yes Master YenSin!"
The three left the office and headed to change and meet by the front gate. They would do what Sarge had told them to.
After they left the office YenSin and Tatiana had a small conversation.
"Why do you do that to them Yen?" Asked Tatiana in a calm tone. "Hehehe. Just want to make sure I get respect out of them." He replied now calm and almost like an entirely different person. Not yelling or barking orders but holding a normal conversation. She pulls out a bottle and two glasses from her desk.
"So. We having a drink about the new kids?" Asked YenSin.
"No. Having a drink for surviving your bad acting." Tatiana answered. As soon as she said that they both began to laugh.
"Aren't you a little young for that you 2700 year old elf?" Yen said jokingly.
"You know that's not true you 2900 year old drag half." Was her response. Both of them being older than they looked due to they where both part of races that live up to hundred thousand years. Neither one of them saying the true age of the other.
They continued this joking talk for about an hour till it was time for YenSin to take care of some things. "Well beautiful. Catch you later." He said heading for the door. "Better be carful what you say. The kids may start getting the wrong idea about us." He response as they had one more good laugh before he left.
