Chapter 4

Stacys moms POV

I woke up to a white room , my head is spinning I feel a hand touch mine and look to the side it's a unusual face to me but it looks so familiar.

Then I turn my head to the other side to see Stacy trying to catch my attention.
The white noise in my mind drowns and I can actually hear voices but they're muffled.

I take a deep breath and signal them that I'm still feeling ill with my hand gestures.
I hear a voice and it's clear , a man?
I turn my head back to the familiar face and have a flash back of what happened.

I remember it all
From Stacys father coming down the stairs to Stacys boyfriends horrified face when he saw me covered in blood.
It all came rushing back and I couldn't help but let the tears sprouting at my eyes grow down my face.

I can't do this anymore.
I'm pretty sure Stacys father is gone anyway,
I can't have him do this to me or Stacy
It's an inevitable source of sadness in my life that I don't need. 

3 weeks later

Mikeys POV

"Stacy can I come over after school? , We can hang around by the pool. " Mikey spoke through the phone. (AN: DONT KILL ME I HAD TO xD)

"It's so hot today and I miss you so much"
Mikey grinned as he spoke his last words of the call

"Sure Mikey be here at 4? "

"Sure bye I love you"

"Forever and always Mikey"

"Forever and always baby girl"

He ended the call and continued his day before he got a text

It was Stacys mom.

Stacys mom: Hi Michael , since Stacy's dad walked out I kind of need help around the house to do chores that I can't really do myself. Stacy just texted saying you'll be coming after school to hang out around the pool with her and I was wondering if you could come earlier and mow the lawn.

Michael: Sure I'll be there around 2
Anything to help you out after what happened.
We're practically family now.

I almost replied instantly
I can't even think to treat Stacy the way that Stacys father treated Stacys mom.
I will never get the picture out of my head of Stacys mom covered in blood and tears.

I will do whatever it takes to make Stacy and her family happy.
