- Part two of The Ball - Ariella's Father ^ -

The night was almost over and I was thanking the Moon Goddess. Not only was this whole thing boring to me it was a horrible first time experience. The only good part about it was the food and the dances other than that this was a total waste of time.

"Mother when are we leaving?" I groaned playing with my thumbs under the table.

"In a minute darling." She said slightly brushing me off.

At this point I just wanted to walk back to the pack house ,but it was miles away from here. Staring at the vase in the middle of our table I sighed. This was gonna be a long couple of minutes.

"Ariella." My father's voice rang.

Shifting my gaze to my father who was seated next to me I nodded. He was being so controlling tonight telling me where to go and who to be with, and of course not to leave his side under any circumstances.

"Yes father?" I whispered (something I do on the regular).

"I was th-"

A large boom echoed through the whole building as debris and smoke covered the premises. My father standing and alert grabbed my hand and pulled me to the other side of the building. Facing me his eyes glistened.

"Go into the restroom and lock the door." He demanded before running back into the smoke.

Scared out of my wits I stood frozen in fear I wasn't only scared for myself but for my father. Why did he secure my safety instead of my mother's considering that she is his mate? I didn't think to long on the question but did as my father demanded. Slipping through the restroom door I quickly locked it before sliding to my knees. From that point I listened. I listened to all the roars, growls, snaps , and snarls. It was a war out there and my mother and father was in it. Closing my eyes I prayed silently to the Moon Goddess asking her to protect them. That's when it went silent there were no more growls , snaps, snarls, or roars just quiet. It scared me, maybe they didn't make it the thought alone made me want to cry. That's when I heard it.

" Find her! " Someone bellowed.

From that point I forced myself into a standing position and quickly scurried to the last stall in the restroom. There I sat on the toilet and brought my knees to my chest. I was scared more than scared I was terrified. Covering my mouth and slowing my breathing I listened. It was quiet which was a little assuring until I heard it. Three loud bangs on the bathroom door. My heart rate quickened as I pushed myself as far back as my small frame could take me. Please let them go away I thought as I shut my eyes tight. But they didn't, they kept banging and banging until the door fell off its hinges. The sound made me jump slightly.

"Come out, come out pup." An eerie voice cried out.

The stranger's footsteps echoed through the small space as he walked down inspecting the stalls he crossed. Think quick . my eyes frantically bounced off the wall of the stall in search of something to defend myself with. It was too late there he was staring through the small crack of the stall watching me with his piercing blue orbs.

"I found you! " He said with glee before prying the door off its hinges.

He was scary looking . His hair was jet black and his eyes were an icy blue. Standing at about 6" flat he was intimidating with a long scar reaching from the top of his left eyebrow to the right side of his face.

"You're a beauty aren't ya' . " He said eyeing me a sinister smirk on his face.

My eyes watered as panic worked it's way up my spine as I stared into his icy blue orbs. I knew if I made a move he will surly not hold back on hurting me. So as the Omega I am I submitted to him . Moving my head slightly to the side I showed him that I wasn't a threat and was willing to do whatever. She's the weakest wolf known to man the thought of my father's words only made me realize that I truly was a weak wolf just by the action I just committed.
