Luke POV
I spent day and night just waiting to hear her laugh again. I waited at the wall that separates our apartments. I never hear anything, no music, no laugher, no feet running up and down the halls. It's been silent for weeks now. It worried me. Questions swam in my head like it's their job. When will I hear her again? When will I get to hear her music again? When will I get to sing to the songs she's playing?Everyday she seemed to move in slow motion. She would always have her headphones on. Her head was always down. As far as I can see she's wearing make-up. She's never worn it before. Her hair is never pulled back anymore. What if I'm losing her before I even grow some to talk to her? I'm wishing I can just gain some courage to speak to her and see why she isn't herself anymore.
Everyday it's the same routine. Wake up and get ready for that day. But today was different. Me, Feeling a little inspired by Lyric and her I guess, shyness lead me to go to the studio to write. I just didn't know I was leaving early than I put it out to be. I've wished since the first day I seen her, to talk to her and get to know the reasons behind her bright smile but hurt eyes. But I didn't think today was going to be that day.
I walked into Starbucks feeling good about today that's until I heard the cashier say her name, right after calling mine. My heart dropped as I didn't think she left her house yet.
I walked up to the cashier and muttered a "thank-you" and "have a good day". I looked around to see Lyrics drink still sitting on the counter. After looking around I found her in the corner with her headphones on and computer prompt in front her. I took the binder I had for writing and quickly found some blue sticky notes. I took her drink and stuck the note to it. Left it on her table and before she noticed. I fled the store having too many second thoughts about what I just did.
