"Later mum! I'm off to Mt Ebott". Frisk shouted to her mum as she ran out the door. Frisk was wearing her favourite t-shirt and pants, and she was off to the 'evil' Mt Ebott. Legends say that monsters live down there, ready to pounce and tear the human flesh from the bones. Frisk was filled with the best kind of determination that day though. The kind that swells the heart and soul, the curious kind of determination.
She walked down the path she had walked many times with her mother, all the way up the mountain. She saw many great things up in this special spot. Squirrels bounded out of her way to the trees, aware of the danger ahead. Owls hooted for her to stop and turn back however, to no avail, because Frisk was full of determination.

Flowey was trying so hard to reach up the hole into the world of humanity. Over a thousand years of being in this lonely spot, and with no-one to hear his pleas of loneliness, he moped. the ground in which he was rooted was very dry and crusty, not the best for a plant of his caliber.
To try and challenge himself, Flowey would use his free stems to reach up through the hole, and never truly make it, the hole being so large and his stems being so small.
However one lazy afternoon, he heard a noise coming from above. "An animal must have reached me near the whole", he thought. With as much strength as he could muster, Flowey hoisted his stems up and out of the hole, to make a trap.
"I won't be lonely anymore". Flowey smiled as he heard the animal tripping, and slowly falling in.

Frisk felt something coil around her leg, but dismissed it, she soon tripped over, and in the worst spot. A huge gaping hole befell her and she tried to stop herself, but she fell in. With what soon felt like hours, she finally reached the ground, only to be stopped inches from it, vines coiling around Frisk's body.
Frisk gasped, and started wriggling out of the vine's grasp, but to her dismay, the vines held strong. Instead, Frisk swiveled her head around to face the thing that had caught her. Her eyes widened at the cute little flower that was staring at her.
"Why is it all alone? A cute little plant shouldn't be lonely. I know, i'll give it some water!" thought Frisk as she pulled the bottle of water from a pocket in her pants.
Frisk called to the flower, "H..hey buddy! C..Can I give you some w..water?"
The flower nodded and with much hesitance, let Frisk go.

Flowey looked at the human, and smiled. Soon he would take her soul, and with all the others, try to get it with the 'friendliness pellets' tutorial. Chara was quite difficult, and in the end Flowey didn't persuade her, but this time this human's soul will be mine.
As Flowey was about to speak, the human asked if he wanted some water. A sparkle lit in Flowey's eyes. Never before had a human tried to give him some water, nevertheless speak to him. Flowey nodded and reluctantly set the human down, only to feel the calm and pleasure of the water cascading down his aching roots and petals. Never had Flowey felt this good.
Flowey didn't want to kill this one yet, and felt and odd sensation to protect the little one. So instead of repeating the well known tutorial speech, he asked the human its name.
The little human replied with a grin, "Frisk".
Flowey thought to himself, "I'd love to get frisky with it then." But quickly erased the thought. A plant and a human couldn't ever get together.
Flowey caught Frisk staring at him weirdly, and he coughed to spare her innocence. He wouldn't pull in Frisk, he would protect her. In any case, it was tutorial time, and Flowey erased all thought of love for Frisk.

Frisk smiled. A flower as a friend, and in a few seconds, he would teach her important lessons for 'survival' down here. Frisk then saw the flower get lost in thought, and so she stared. She stared at him for quite a while, before getting lost in the way his face scrunched up, little fangs tempting to eat things with. Frisk pondered while still staring at his face, "Eat what things? What do talking flowers eat? Oh, maybe determination. Or, like the legend mother used to say, human souls."
Frisk was suddenly brought back to the time with her and the flower, and she looked straight into his eyes, noticing there was no sparkle, and just seriousness. Whatever the lesson may be, Frisk was sure she was ready.
Frisk stared once more at the flower. Apparently she was supposed to run into them, but she was distracted, and moved to the side. The flower's eyes started to look evil, red seeping into them, like something demonic was about to break through. Frisk look a bit terrified, the determination leaking out of her like water through a holed bucket. Frisk dodged again, hoping the flower would at least return to its happy moment like before.

"Frisk is really starting to irritate me, why isn't she dying???" Thought Flowey as the human in front of him was almost about to cry. He regained his composure, and with his voice full of hate and fury, and scolded Frisk. It tore his heart to see her crumpled on the ground, and bullets surrounding her, well, the good part of him anyway. In fact he didn't have a heart, which made things confusing. But in any case, Flowey didn't want to see Frisk die, so he slowed down his bullets, feeling sorry and ashamed of himself. Yes, he did laugh, and that was bad.
Shortly after the whole fiasco, A goat mum named Toriel Flowey did not like soon appeared, and blasted fire at Flowey, causing him to shrink down below the already underground roots, watching as Toriel led Frisk away from him.

Frisk slowly left the angry flower, and strolled along with the strange talking, two-legged goat mum. She hoped the flower would not be so vicious the next time she saw him, and a little gleam of hope made her determined the rest of the way. Each time Frisk saw a vine, it reminded her of the flower, and that it was waiting, just for her. A couple of times Frisk tried to turn back, but sadly, Toriel pulled her back on course.
It was agony to be separated from true love, and Frisk knew that she couldn't last long without seeing if the flower was okay. Toriel tried to calm Frisk down, but a human's soul was too overpowering, and Frisk tried to run back, blocked by Toriel.
This time, Toriel wasn't going to let little Frisk run away.
"Let me go back!" Yelled Frisk to Toriel, who was trying to persuade the girl to keep moving to her house.
"I can't let you go back, that flower is evil, young Frisk." retorted Toriel, persistently trying to pull Frisk away from the exit of the Ruins.
"That Flower is my friend, I will get to him, whether you like it or not!" And Frisk pushed past Toriel, running across the purple cobblestone steps, sending scraps of rock in all directions. Toriel cried out saying it's too dangerous, but nonetheless Frisk charged ahead, tears skyrocketing down her smiling face. She was finally going to reunite with the flower she loved so dearly.
