Dans POV
I stubbornly woke up to find the warmth of his body comforting mine. He came to my room at 2:00 am and told me he had a nightmare.
"Dan, can I sleep with you? I had a scary dream."
I swear he's a child, not just at heart. I couldn't say no to his puppy eyes, they were adorable! Did I just say that? Yes I did. I always think he's adorable and I wish he felt the same way I felt about him.

I rolled over moving his arm to his chest.
"Good morning Dan." Phil happily said while stretching.
"Good morning Phil." I grinned.
"Whatcha want for breakfast?" He asked while slowly sitting up.
"Pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes." I laughed while licking my lips. He giggles than gets up and leaves my room.
While waiting for breakfast I watched a little YouTube.
"Dan, breakfast is ready!" He yelled from the kitchen. I jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen like a child runs to the tree on Christmas.
When I got to the table on the two plates that were on the table there were pancakes with a smiley face made out of chocolate chips. I looked up and smiled, Phil was turned around in the silverware drawer.
"Aha!" He exclaimed while throwing up forks in both hands.
"I found them!" He turned around now.
It was forks we got from some gift shop with a design of colorful fish in water with our names on them in comic sans font.
He placed the one with my name next to my plate and his next to his plate.
"We haven't used these in forever!" I giggled while pulling out my chair and sitting down.
"Well I'm glad they didn't get up and walk away from the drawer like the elephant spoons we used to have." We both laughed as there was a knock on the door.
"I wonder who that is, I'll go get it." I explained.
When I got to the door I peeked through the peephole to see an unfamiliar face.
