STACY
His name came up on the caller ID exactly eleven forty three. I answered it in my cheery fashion for our late night talks were always my passion. But his voice told me that something was wrong like a horror movie's foreshadowing song. As he took a deep breath and told me the phrase "We need to talk",
I was put in daze."We've connection and get along fine. There's nothing you've done. The problem is mine."
"You understand, don't you?"
"Are you still there?"
I tried to answer as I felt my heart tear.
"We're gonna stay friends, we'll talk every day. Hannah do you have anything to say?"
A thousand thoughts were ready to spill but my mouth wouldn't talk as my eyes began to fill. Thoughts were raced through my head, old memories played. The thought of being alone made me feel so afraid.
"I'm not expecting you to understand. You're a sophomore, life holds different demands."
"Still one day when your life is SAT's college applications and activities, you'll realize why I made this choice."
"Talk to me, Hannah, do you've a voice?"
I would....
Err!! Who is that disturbing me at this time? I just hate when someone disturbs me either when I'm writing. It had been almost 3 weeks I haven't update my story in Wattpad. I take a look at my phone and it was Mandy texted me to meet her at the park at 11am tomorrow. I reply her "Ok" and continue with my story.
I would if I hadn't hung up so quick to comfort myself. I was feeling quite sick.
I ended it here and updated my story. I set a reminder in my phone to meet Mandy so that I wouldn't forget. And good night world.
The next morning, I was awaken by the nag of my mom to my sister. As usual she took mom's make up kit. I look at the clock and its 9.30am. Damn! I slept too long today.
I could smell the pan cake and syrup while walking downstairs. I just missed them so much. Not the pan cake but the smell of my mom's cooking.
"Good morning honey."
"Morning ma." I said while give a peck on her cheeks.
"Taken your bath? You smell so good."
"Yeah. But ma nothing can beat the scent of your pan cake."
"Oh Stacy! For the sake of my stomach, don't say that. Then mom will be serving pancakes 24/7. I would have to face terrible stomach ache."
"Haha.. Not to worry, just a phone call is enough, Pizza will arrive."
"Stacy sissy... Don't forgot another thing."
"What's that?"
"Pizza boy arrives too.. Huhuhu...."
"Ahh!! That guy! He's bored."
"What? No! Don't tell me none inform you about the new guy."
"Really!? Oh damn! No one informs me about them."
"Okay. Now let me tell you he's freaking hot and you know what -"
"Wait a minute! Ma how could you missed out this?"
"Missed what?" Both my mother and sister was looking at me confusedly.
"Missed what you're asking!? What else if not about this new guy. You tell me everything on phone but you missed this hot news ma." My sister shows thumbs up. And I was waiting for my mother's 'show time' but instead of it..
