Cherry lollipop
The taste twisted into your drunken lips as we tangled our tongues
3am clouded haze and drugged smoke couldn't even stop us
Fingers fumbled freely and touches turned treacherous
We got high on adrenaline and thrived on the buzz of recklessness
It was not at all love but God did it wreak just as much havoc
Lust got confused as passion while we spat flirtatious whispers in each others ears
Together we fell deep in limerence, however it didn't happen to be with each other
We loved instead the emptiness of getting completely and totally lost in another
We were not in control of ourselves but instead, let our body's do what they wished
It was liberating in a sick way
Cherry lollipop
The taste twisted into your drunken lips as we tangled our tongues
I memorized the curve of every inch of your veined skin
Just as sharply as I did the candied taste
Funny, really, I never even learned your first name
