I unlock the door and walk into the room. One side is plain and white, while the other is decorated with navy blue blankets, picture frames, but with nothing in them, and a black desk covered in random stuff. I walkover to the boring side of the room. I look around; sheets, a desk, and drawers. Wow, luckily I brought everything from home. Well most things. I put on my plain white comforter that have tiny speckles of different colors on them. I grab another bag and opened it up. My favorite bag; with the things I only care about. I look over at my desk and put my laptop, that was my mom's but I took it, on it. I grab my camera and different lens on the table. I grab my polaroid camera and put it on the table. I lastly grab my notebook and pens, and lay them on the table. I go empty my other bags and suit cases filled with cloths. Then get to my stash of photos and posters. I first put the photos of Ashley and I first. She's my only friend. No joke. She's shy, not around me though. And I'm a smartass most of the time. And also because she's super pretty and just perfect, and me being the photographer I am. I love taking photos of her. I look around my area and it finally looks complete. Ugh I gotta pee. I wonder where the bathroom's are?____________________________________________________
I walk out of the restroom and walk back to my room. Shit, I forgot my key. I knock on the door in hopes that my roommate is here. No answer. I hear something fall. Oh no! I knock even harder. No answer.
"Hey, please let me in. I'm in this room now. I just came today," I hear someone walk towards the door and it opens. A boy around the age of 12 answers the door. Is this my roommate?
"Oh I'm so sorry, this is the wrong room. I'm new here and I'm lost," I say then turn around to start walking away.
"Wait Gertrude, your in the right room," the boy says. I turn back around and look at him confused.
"How do you know my name you creep?" I look at him, and he starts to laugh.
"Well hello to you, would you like to come in?" I walk into the room skeptical. I look over and sit on my bed. "Well hi, I'm Aiden. This Nathan's room. But I stay here a lot because my roommate is super annoying."
"Oh, um ok. Are you Nathan's brother?" I ask.
"Yup! He's 17. I'm....um....uh... I'm 16," he says unsure of him self. "What about you?"
"I'm 16 too. But are you sure your 16? You said that a little unsure of yourself. And you look around 12." I ask laughing a little.
"I'm 16! See I'm just a little taller then you," he says a little confident.
"I'm also 5'2. Everyone's taller then me," I tell him with a little sass. "But whatever, I'm going to take a nap, wake me up whenever." I turn around and get under the covers and drift off to sleep.

"Oh that's the new girl."
"Yeah, she's hot. I call dibs!"
"Your 13, you said she was 16. You don't get anything"
Nathan and Aiden have been talking for the last 30 minuets about me. I've been fake sleeping for the whole time. Their converstations are funny.
"I knew you were 13!" I say loud enough for them to hear me. I then turn around in my bed.
"Um no. You said I was 12, not 13. So your wrong." Aiden reassures me. Nathan smacks him in the back of his head and Aiden lightly laughs.
"Aiden, would you please get out. I want to talk to my new roommate about some stuff." Nathan says rudely to his brother. Aiden looks down and walks out.
"Well hi I'm Nathan, got any questions?" He says getting to the point.
"Why did they pair a boy and girl together?" I ask, well I was wondering it. Why not ask.
"They think we'll act better if we're paired with someone the opposite gender. It never works though." He tells me while cleaning his side of the room. As in throwing stuff around to at least try and look neat.
"Will I leave when I get better?" I ask semi rudely.
"You never leave here because you 'got better'. You leave because your parents get you, or your too old. Luckily I turn 18 in 9 months and I'll be out of here. And I'll take Aiden with me."
"Can we ever talk to our parents?"
"Why would you want to? They're the ones who sent you away from them because they thought you needed help? But they can write letters and packages, phone calls once every 2 months, and can visit whenever," he tells me. I get a little hope, maybe they'll come visit. "Why were you sent here?"
"Parents hate me. You?"
"Came here when I was 10, Aiden was 5. Parent's didn't give a shit about us so they sent us here. And your parents sound awful. Your definitely not crazy. Believe me, the girl in room 402 is crazy. Your not." I look down and shake my head. "What's your name?"
"Gertrude, but I hate that name. So call my Trudy." I swear my parents hated me from the day I was born. So that's why I was named that.
"Okay Gerdy," I roll my eyes because of the dumb nickname he gave me. "Well something about this school, that you actually may like, is nobody gives a shit. You don't have to go to classes. You just get a text book and on the last day you take a test. Which is kind of hard. But it's whatever. And if you want to leave campus, just come back within 2 days and they won't tell your parents. It's pretty hard to get in trouble. So don't." I look at him. At his body. He's tall. 6 foot at least. Very built. Nice strong arms, but not like overly strong arms. Oh, you can see his arm veins. More and likely has a six pack. Nice chiseled face. And a nice jaw line. Damn he's perfect.
"Is that it? Wow what a great school," I say rolling my eyes.
"Oh and my rules. No smart ass stuff. And no bringing boy here to fuck. Since your new, boys will be drooling over you. And I don't want to have to see you and a boy naked." He says giggling at the end.
"Deal, but same goes for you," I say and he smiles putting his hands up in defense. "And no promise with the smart ass comments. It's a habit."
"Whatever, lunch should start any minuet. Want to go so we can get the good stuff first?" He asks me
I nod my head and we head out. He takes me down the hall way and tell me stuff about every kid who walks by. I get a few stares from people. But I brush it off. As we open the doors to the cafeteria I feel a hand touch my shoulder. I turn my head and see a boy around my age. With beach blonde hair and semi pale skin. But still cute.
"Hi I'm Lucas, are you new here," the boy, named Lucas, asked.
"Hi, and yes I am. My names Trudy. Nice to meet you," I say giving him a sweet smile.
"Well I was wondering if a pretty thing like you would want to come and eat lunch with me?" Lucas asks.
"I would but I'm," I turn my head to look over at Nathan but see him starting to walk away. "- Actually I was just walking around looking at everything. I ate before I came."And with that I walk back to the room.

"First day and the school's player already wants you," Nathan says right when I walk in.
"I didn't even sit with him I came back. You freaking left me!" I slightly yell at him.
"Why didn't you? He's the big man on campus? And I turned out not being hungry so I left."
"Ya whatever. Well thanks to you 'not being hungry' I got lost while walking back," I saw rolling my eyes.
"Whatever. I'm gonna be gone for the night, I'll be back tomorrow." He tells me.
"Yeah whatever bye," I tell him while he leaves.
