Plagueis and Sidious began performing their standard attacks on the mysterious sith. However they were so evenly matched that no one could gain the upper hand so the mysterious figure pulled out a thermal detonator and escaped through a hole in the weak surface. " We should go after him master", said Sidious. " Patience my ignorant apprentice, we will meet him again and next time we won't fail". Sidious nodded and dived through the opening in the ground. As they dove they could see the underground area. It looked more like a city instead of an ancient temple. The buildings and ruins below them all glistened in red and black but one key thing was missing from this amazing sight, and that was life. They landed on top of an old building with more skeletons to break their fall. " This is a city master, where are the citizens who live here" exclaimed Palpatine. Plagueis didn't answer. He had saw something below the building that had caught his attention. It was the old man! He was walking swiftly to the building across the street. "This is our chance Palpatine!" he said. " We can capture him and maybe he can tell us more about why there's a city in this temple of ruins". " And maybe more so why the city is empty" mumbled Sidious. They quietly hopped off of the one story building into the darkness of the cave. Sidious walked to the back of the other building. He saw a sign on the door, but it was in a language he didn't understand. Plagueis, who was at the front of the building opened the door. He called upon the force to help him locate the mysterious human. He got nothing but a continued silence. Finally he called out, " I know you're in here human. Tell me where the holocron is and we won't completely damage you". He got to the stairs that led to the second floor. Then he saw a small ball roll down the stairs. He didn't notice until it was right at his toe, but it was a thermal detonator.
