I was walking down down the block thinking where am I gonna go now. My grandmas? She's dead. My aunts? She's dead to me. My uncle? He's also in jail. As you can tell I'm living great life aren't I? (Sarcasm) But then I see this girl walking towards me (yes, I'm gay) and I stop her and say "Wanna get some coffee" "Sure" the girl said. So, we walked to the nearest Starbucks and we bother order salted caramel mocha lattes. "What's your name?" I said
"Veronica, you?" she sounded very snobby for some reason. "Emily" I said.
"Where are you from?" Veronica asked in my head I said what is this an interview? "I'm from New York, you?"
"I'm from California" she says. "I ran away from the orphanage I was in. And I made it here to the big apple." She added. " Was the orphanage anything like Annie?" I say smiling and laughing.
And then after a long afternoon of smiling, laughing and getting to know each other she invited me back to her place.
