So long to all my friends
Everyone of them met tragic ends
With every passing day
I'd be lying if I didn't say
That I miss them all tonight
And if they only knew what I would say

Frank Iero hasn't let anyone get close to him. He knows what happens when he does that. He hates everything. Himself, his mom, everyone. He pushes everyone away. He knows they won't stay forever. He doesn't want to deal with the pain. Again.

Flashback
13 year old Frank was on his way to his best friend, Ray's house. He has two friends. Ray, and Bob. When he turns on Ray's street he sees police cars at his house and his mom crying. He walks up. "What happened? Why are there police." Ray's mom cries harder. "And you are?" Asked a police man. "Frank Iero". "Who are you to Ray" he asked. "His best friend. What happened?" Frank asked. "Ray he...he killed himself late last night" the officer replied.
Ray's mom cried even harder. She sobbed even. Frank just stood there. In shock. He started to cry but ran away before anyone could see him.

Neither him nor Bob went to school the next few days. They went to Ray's funeral.

End of flashback

Frank walked through the school halls alone. He was usually late to his first class. He walked in and the teacher, Mr.Gilson, turned to him. "Mr.Iero. Late again I see. Do you have a pass to be late?" He asked. "No" Frank replied simply. He walked to his usual seat in the far back corner where no one sat and took a seat. "And do you happen to have last nights assignment, Mr.Iero?" The teacher asked. "No" he said again.

During lunch Frank sits alone around the back of the school. Sometimes he smokes. Sometimes he doesn't. But today was different. Frank hadn't been in school the past few days. When he went to the back of the school someone else was sitting there. Frank stopped and looked shocked. "Who are you?" He asked the boy. He had black hair that hung over his face. He wore a black green day shirt and black jeans with black converses. He had a notebook in front of him and was drawing something. He looked shocked to see Frank there. "Um sorry is this your spot. I just came here a few days ago. Sorry I'll leave" the boy said as he gathered his things. "Wait. No. What's your name?" Frank asked. "Um..I'm Gerard. Who are you?" The boy, Gerard, replied. "I'm Frank. You can stay". Frank sat next to the boy. "He's so beautiful." Frank thought.

His eyes were a beautiful hazel color with hints of yellow and green in them. "What are you drawing?" Frank asked. The boy became visibly uncomfortable at the question. "Sorry. You don't have to tell me" Frank said. "No. It's fine. I don't really know honestly. Just a random idea" the picture was of a war scene. Someone was laying on the ground bleeding. A boy with curly hair was trying to help him. The boy reminded him of Ray. Frank fought to hold back the tears. "What's wrong did I do something. I'm sorry" the boy said. "Oh no. I'm fine. It's just...someone in your drawing reminds me of my friend.." Frank replied. "Oh" the boy replied.
The boy and Frank had long conversations. They stayed outside the rest of the day, forgetting about classes. They discussed their pasts and their interests. Frank fell in love.

For the first time, in a long time, Frank didn't feel so alone. But he was afraid of loosing Gerard.
