Skyfoot forced her fur to lie flat. "Are you coming with us or not?" Crimsonstar meowed, his voice barely more than a whisper but bright with anxiety.
She lowered her head and raised it again.
"Crimsonstar," His mate mewed. "She feels she shouldn't have to have such pressure on he-"
"Hush Thornfurl!" Crimsonstar meowed. "You know as much as I do, she belongs with us!"
She hissed at him. "Yes, but-" She was interrupted again. "Enough!!" Whitestar meowed. "This war is over!"
Suddenly, clouds covered the sky. A starry line spiraled down and into many StarClan warriors
Crimsonstar stepped back. His pelt bristled and he glanced at Thornfurl and Skyfoot. The cats that died stood in front of all of them. "Heatherstorm..." Whitefang mewed.
"My love.. Oh my love.." Whitestar mewed as she stared at her beloved mate Birchstar.
Himself, Duskstar, and many others were among them, their pelts looking as starry and glossy as they once were when they were alive.
"What's going on?!" Crimsonstar hissed, his gaze traveling around, the sight of the dead cats making him think of his lost son.
"We are StarClan warriors." Duskstar mewed.
Crimsonstar flicked his tail. "What do you want..."
"This war has caused great strife and confrontations..." Birchstar mewed. Crimsonstar narrowed his eyes.
"F-father....?" A voice mewed.
Pikefang shouldered past the starry cats to stand in front of his father. "P-Pikefang!" Crimsonstar exclaimed. Though he was shocked, his eyes were bright at the sight of his son.
The tom looked sheepish as his gaze laid on his sister. "I understand if you don't want to forgive me for all I've done.."
Crimsonstar gazed at his son and his daughter. Even at the moment and even though Pikefang was dead, his family was all together. "No one can blame you for what happened Pikefang." Crimsonstar meowed.
The tom's eyes gleamed brighter than the sun. "But.. I wanted glory for horrible crimes... I'm terrible.. I should be in the Place Of No Stars..." He mewed, thinking if the StarClanners that told him of the place.
Crimsonstar shook his head. "No, you don't, you were a bold and amazing warrior and helped your Clan, every cat makes mistakes, some more than others...." Crimsonstar sighed.
Pikefang formed a gentle smile. Crimsonstar looked at Thornfurl, Pikefang and Skyfoot. He let out a soft purr. "See what family can do..." he mumbled, half to himself half out loud. All of the cats looked at him in sympathy.
Crimsonstar gazed at the other StarClan warriors. "What are you doing here than?" he asked. "The fighting stopped."
"There are more destinies that lie ahead for all cats." Many voices boomed all at once.
Crimsonstar flicked his tail, fur rising along his spine, along with many of tee other cats.
"Like four seasons... Three shall be four. One will go down paths of their own. Paths that are to be filled with enemies.." Birchstar mewed.
Skyfoot blinked in confusion as her eyes screwed up. What did the words mean?
Crimsonstar narrowed his eyes a Birchstar. "Could you be more vague?" he hissed.
Whitestar puffed out her pelt. "StarClan shares with us all we need to know at that time!" she hissed.
Birchstar said no words.
"What are we doing standing around." Crimsonstar meowed. "If the fighting is done and they wont give us more information, then we all should go home and try to think about better answers for what he said."
Skyfoot licked her kit's heads. "Come my darlings."
"But moom.." Silverpaw whined.
"Is dad coming with us?" Howlingpaw asked, his eyes gleaming.
Leafpelt returned with Reedpaw at his side.
Crimsonstar gazed at Skyfoot's kits, his tail tip twitched slightly. "We need to get back to the camp before its to late to send a hunting patrol."
"No... Not this time." Skyfoot mewed.
"Huh?!" Howlingpaw yowled.
"You must go with your mother.." Leafpelt told his three kits.
