"Can we please just do something? We can watch the T-Rex feed!" You suggest to your older sister who stopped talking to her new friend and put half of her attention on you.
"Gross, no." She says, shaking her head. "We could get lemonade, or go to the souvenir shop." She offers you
You sigh. "May I at least go on my own? This isn't fun." You complain to her as she lifts of her phone and presses the worn, dark pink button on the side to check the time.
"No. You can't go far. Here, go get is some food." She said, setting her phone down beside her and unzips her dark blue purse to pull out a wallet and gives you a twenty. "And hurry please, I'm starving."
I'mnotyourwaiter. You think, turning around and shoving the twenty in your pocket. You felt the folded note in your back pocket, and without a care if you'd lose it. You went on your way to go watch the T-Rex feed.

"Yewwww!" You hear, then corrupted with giggles as the T-Rex bites down onto the bones of the animal. You shiver and smile at his act. It was amazing, you never thought you'd actually see a T-Rex, especially not this close. You're stolen away from your thoughts as the boy several years younger jumps up and down and his arm brushes against yours.
"Need help?" You ask, and hold him by his waist and lift him up to see. He lifts up a camera and snaps a shot. You lower him down after he's finished.
"Thanks." He says.
"Where's your parent?" You ask him curiously.
"Oh they sent us here to be with our aunt for a week." He says.
"Where is she?" You ask him, us? You think to yourself.
"Working. She runs this place."
"Whoa! That's amazing! I'm Y/n." You say, holding a hand out for him to shake.
"Grey." He claps his clammy hand to yours and yanks it up and down and lets go, you refuse to wipe it on your pants so you wouldn't be rude as another kid around your age approaches.
"That was mom." He says to the kid, tucking the cell phone in his pocket. "You ready to go?" He asks.
"Sure." He says.
"Well, it was nice to meet you Grey." You say, and turn around.
"Wait, are you all alone?" The young boy asks.
You face him again to respond, "I'm with my sister but she refuses to do anything."
"You can join us if you want." The older sibling suggests. The younger one smile and nods.
"That'd be great. Yeah, thanks." You say smiling.
"Great! Let's go." He says and the younger one leads the way to the Mesosaurus. On the way, as Zach introduced himself to you, you got a call from your sister.
"Sorry, wait one second." You click the green button lit on the bottom left screen. You lift it to you ear, smirking. "Hey (sister's name.)."
"Y/n where are you? Why haven't you come back?" She asks, her voice full of anger and worry.
"I went to go see the T-Rex, and now I'm off to go watch another show with some friends I met."
You hear a faint, "she'sneartheT-Rexshow, comeon."
And then, "We're on our way to get you. You stay right there!" She hisses, and hangs up.
"We've got to go fast! She's coming to find me!" You say, and throw your phone in your back pocket. Zach and you start in a sprint and catch up to Grey and pull him along, you all stop once you reach the line. Panting and smiling.
You phone buzzes and you pull it out, you see a text from your sister: callmenow! You tuck it away and move toward the building slowly as the line builds up behind you.
Eventually it started picking up and you, Zach, And Grey picked your seats in front of the blue water. You felt nervous and wiped your hands on your pants, unable to stand the butterflies in your stomach. Sure, you loved dinosaurs, but when they're this close?
"Hey, are you okay?" Zach asks, his face full of concern.
"I should be. I'm just a bit worried, you know? Being this close is a bit frightening." You say, taking in a deep breath as the wind blows, it smelled of salt from the water in front of you, reminding you of the beach. Thebeach. Somethingpeaceful.
"Here, you can hold onto my hand tightly. You look like you're about to pass out." He says, you don't grab onto his hand until the show begins and the lady suggests that you all watch her ( the Mesosaurus) feed. Your grip on Zach's hand couldn't be tighter and you were sure he had no feeling in it anymore. You looked at him apologetically, but didn't let go.
Once they moved the dead shark (which you felt some pity for) over to hover over the water it took a minute until the Mesosaurus jumped out and the sound was terrifying, you let go of your grip on Zach's hand and curled up in your seat and covered your eyes once the Mesosaurus went down and splashed you. It was horrible timing to breath as the salty water went into your nose and burnt it, nostrils to throat. Everyone clapped as you gasped for air and coughed Zach was smiling as he hit a hard hand on your back to get it out. You coughed once more and the water came out, burning your throat even more, it went all over the man's head and back in front of you, his drenched white shirt becoming even more wet, he turned around and you giggled. "Sorry I was like, dying." That sent Zach into guffaws. The man just nodded and turned around again, clearly disgusted.
"Okay, let's take a better look at our Mesosaurus." The lady says, and your seats our lowered down.

"I guess I'd better find my sister." You said sadly after exiting the attraction.
"No! You can't go!" Grey cries out.
"Yeah, why can't you stay a bit longer?" Zach suggests, crossing his arms over his chest and biting his lower lip. You shrugged.
"I can't-"
"Y/n!" You hear a relieved yell. Your sister, coming your way in a sprint, her (same color as your hair if you don't have a sister or her real color hair) "where have you been? Why didn't you answer me?" She asks frantically. "I called mom, she was so worried!"
"I just wanted to have fun. I'm sorry." You apologized. "I made two new friends. This is Zach and his younger brother Grey." You says, gesturing your hand their way and smiling.
"Okay fine. You have your phone turned up, and keep it with you. Text me every thirty minutes. Got it? Harper and I are going to shop and get on rides. Be safe, I don't want to get in trouble. And, have fun I guess. Here is your souvenir money from mom and dad." She says, handing you the $75 you had earned by working in the yard. "And the money for food." She hands you $35 dollars, which adds to the twenty you received earlier. "Be safe."
You smile as she walks away and you turn to your new friends, "Want to ride the Gyrosphere?"
