Me: Save it for bed *stalks off*LadyBug's POV
"I can't believe this!" Chat Noir's voice floated up from the other side of the room and I looked over to see him slumped over his mop.
"It's not my fault," I retorted, throwing my rag on the floor. After my father had got Akumatized, he had blown up his bread to the point of explosion and for some reason, my lucky charm (which was a torch for your information) hadn't cleaned up the dough. This meant that me and Chat Noir we're stuck cleaning up it all.
"This is bullshit!" I watched as he slammed his mop onto the floor and raised his paw in the air. "Cataclysm!" He scraped his claws along the ground and surprisingly, it cleaned it well.
"Wow Chat," I said, smirking. "You actually had a good idea for once."
He turned and smirked at me before picking up his discarded mop and spinning it in a seductive manner.
"M'Lady," he said, talking to the mop. "What could I do to catch a dance in my claws?"
I sighed and pulled the mop from his hands.
"It would be polite if you asked a human rather than wool on a stick," I joked.
Suddenly, from outside, a slow song started playing and from the open window of the bakery, it could be heard quite clearly.
"Alright than M'trueLady," Chat Noir teased, bowing. "Would you care for a dance?"
I stood there a moment in mock consideration but I was swept into a dance without being able to put in a suggestion.
Chat spun me round, entangling his hands with mine and placing his other on my hip, squeezing gently.
"You're stunning, m'lady," he whispered in my ear and I blushed, lightly.
I was afraid that my parents would come downstairs and find us dancing together but I didn't care. It was paradise dancing with him and halfway through I realised what I was doing. I was pretending it was Adrien.
I gasped and pushed him away, embarrassed and heartbroken. He wasn't Adrien and I had to stop pretending he was.
"What's the matter, LadyBug?" Chat seemed genuinely concerned and wiped away at something on my cheek.
I gasped as I realised that his fingers and my cheeks were wet with tears and I furiously wiped them away.
"No," I said, stubbornly. "I can't fall for you. Because my heart and my mind are already confused enough!"
Chat pulled away, surprised and a look of disappointment clear on his face.
"I'm sorry m'lady," Chat Noir looked sheepish. "But before you change back-"
I already could hear the bleeping near my ear. 4 minutes.
"-could I ask you something?"
I glanced at Chat and nodded gently before screwing up my face to stop the tears. I forcefully clawed at my face, still staring intently at Chat.
"Why can't you fall for me?"
At almost the exact same time, our miraculouses began bleeping again. 3 minutes each.
"Because my heart has been stolen by another person. A boy. In-in my class," I sheepishly spilled out my secrets becoming more and more red as I told my secrets of Adrien. Why couldn't he love me?!
"You're still at school then?" Chat smiled. "So am I."
I glanced up, surprised. I always knew he couldn't be an adult by the way he acted, but I never thought he would still be in school himself.
"Yeah," I replied, blushing. "And he's in my class too."
Chat tilted his head to the side. "What's his name?"
2 minutes.
My face burned more violently as I covered my face with my hands before murmuring, "Adrien Agrest."
I couldn't look at Chat for embarrassment but no reply came from him so I caught a glimpse.
His face was a picture of utter shock, eyes wide in astonishment, mouth slightly open and frozen. Then however, his features lifted, his lips curving into a smile before placing his hands on my hips and drawing me nearer.
1 minute.
He planted a soft kiss on my lips before drawing back to look into my eyes.
"You know," he said, smiling at me, gently. "I know that Adrien. He's a close friend of mine. So close, I know his every move. Like this one for example."
He again reached down and pressed his lips against mine, savouring the flavour and I found that I was kissing him back.
And then it happened.
The flash of light travelled round our embrace and I squeezed my eyes shut, not wanting to see Chat's true identity at all.
The saying 'Curiosity killed the cat' never really made sense to me until now in which my conscience took over and I opened my eyes a smidgen, still with my lips against Adrien's.
Adrien's.
WAIT, WHAT?!
"No way!" I jumped back and scurried away backwards, a bad idea as it caused me to fall straight across the counter. I landed with a soft 'thump' on the other side and looked up to see Adrien leaning over me, mouth wide open.
"Marinette?" he asked, confused. "Oh!" He smacked his palm on his forehead. "How did I never realise?!"
Adrien bent down and held out his hand. I blushed but took it gratefully as he pulled me to my feet. I felt nervous as I knew his eyes were on me and I tucked the strand of loose hair behind my ear.
"Tikki," I whispered. "You really couldn't have held on a little longer?"
Her squeaky voice came from under my hair. "Well," she said, slyly. "I could've held on for another five minutes but it was time for you to show him."
She smiled at me and I looked back at Adrien, grinning myself.
This time, I leaned up, took his face in my hands and pressed my lips to his, taking in his delicious smell through my nose and from his lips.
