Marinette: So, Daisy. What's this one about?
Me: It's about the little fox miraculous in Master Fu's possession. You know when that girl made it up. Lisa or whatever her name was.
Adrien: *coughs* fake fan *coughs*
Me: Haha(!) Very funny. But it's about the REAL one being given to a girl.
Adrien: Please say it's not Chloe.
Me: Well of course it's not. It's me as if I was in the cartoon!
Adrien&Marinette: Weirdo.

Iona's POV

"Make friends!" Mum waved frantically from the door of the shop which was just opening up as I sped away along the frosty ground. My first day back at school after two years, mostly in the hospital.

'I wonder if anyone other than Nathanaël and will recognise me.' I think to myself as I walk to school.

Life hadn't been to good to me, causing me to stay in hospital for two years due to serious injury. But I hope that man was okay.

I was just walking along when I saw an old man crossing the road. He was old and crippled, with a cane and looked as if he was from an Asian country.

I smiled as he looked at me and he grinned back. He continued walking along and my eyes travelled up the road to glance at the oncoming traffic.

I screamed.

Abandoning everything, I sprinted towards the elderly man and pushed him out of the way of the oncoming truck. I looked up at his shocked face and smiled gently, knowing my fate.

When the truck hit, I simply closed my eyes and I passed out.

Weeks later, I woke up in a hospital bed, connected up to many wires. Two doctors stood by me talking to one another, neither one having realised I was awake.

I sat myself up on my elbows and looked around the room. Just like any other hospital room: simple white walls and loads of machines beeping. I sat up completely and coughed, gently, to get the attention of the doctors.

They both looked round, surprised but relieved. However, as they saw my eager face, their own contorted into ones of worry.

After five minutes, the whole story had already been told. I had (somehow) survived the truck hitting me but, when the doctors did a scan on me, it turned out I had cancer of the blood otherwise known as Leukemia.

Months went by and I simply laid in bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling no emotions and just trying my best to control the pain I was feeling physically and emotionally.

I received visitors after visitors until one day, I awoke to find a black box on my beside table. I opened it and found myself gazing at a beautiful necklace. A gold chain with a fox tail pendant, made of metal, sat on a small cushion, most of the chain hidden away.

Carefully, I unhooked the garment and put it round my neck and immediately felt much better.

"Ah!" I jumped as I heard the soft voice coming from inside the fox tail. A small fox that floated came shooting out.

"What are you!?" I squeaked, shuffling away from it.

The creature sighed and began to explain.

"I am a kwami and you are now a superhero."

As I walked along the road, reliving my memories, Zag popped his small head out of hmyhepocket and flew up to sit on my shoulder, underneath my hair.

"Should you really be going to school, Iona," he whispered into my ear. "I mean, you've only just been discharged and you haven't seen anyone in over two years. Are you sure you're going to be okay?"

I smiled to myself and spoke back to him, trying my best not to move my lips. "It'll be fine. Besides, I'm stronger now ever since I became Volpina."

He shrugged. "Well, try not to die."

School loomed closer as we walked forwards and I watched, happily as I saw teens running into school, some couples holding hands and friends running alongside each other.

As I walked into the class, I was engulfed in a hug. Miss Bustier drew away, tears welling up in her eyes.

"You're back," she whispered, smiling from ear to ear and drawing back in for a tighter hug than before. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I'm going to get suffocated by a tree," I joked. "But fine."

"Good," she said, coming away and straightening her dress, that had crumpled slightly. "Go ahead and sit down somewhere."

Nodding, I turned and looked around the room when students were beginning to arrive and unpack their supplies. Empty seats were plainly obvious in the first and second row on the right yet I was terrified to sit down.

"For fox sake," Zag whispered. "Just sit on the end of the second row or something, I don't know."

Cautiously, I followed his orders and sat down on the second row nearest the middle of the room. I got out my books and-

"Hey!" A vice from the door made me lift my head. A girl wit black hair, tied into pigtails was pointing at me, a scowl plain on her face. "That's my seat!"

Me: Damn, I haven't updated in YEARS!!
Adrien: This chapter is as shit as Chloé's hair. Which is shit.
Chloé: Adrien! Don't talk about my hair when I know how much you love running your fingers through it 😘
Me: Well, I'm gonna go...
Adrien: NOOO!! DAISY SAVE ME!! *gets dragged away by Chloé*
