"Kia! Wake up!" the voice of my roommate and best friend, Anne, yelled at me, bringing me out of the land of dreams. I groaned in protest and rolled over onto my side. "Kia," she groaned at me. With a single tug, my blanket that surrounded me with its warmth was now gone and what greeted me was the cold air. Which caused me to roll up into a ball in an attempt to stay warm.

"Antony Garther," I groaned in annoyance, saying her full name.

"We are going to be late for breakfast! Get up now!" Anne yelled. "Don't make me drag you out of bed," she threatened, I could practically feel her pointing a threatening finger at me.

I lifted my head to glare at her over my shoulder. "You wouldn't dare," I challenged. She gave me her signature mischievous smirk. A raise of the eyebrow and crooked smile. I stared back at her with a challenging glare, before putting my head back down on my soft pillow in a sign of dismal.

She, of course, stole my pillow, which caused me grunt in surprise as its softness left me laying my head on my mattress. "Sadie!" I shouted, calling out to my other best friend and roommate in protest.

"What?!" she shouted, back from the bathroom.

"Anne's beinging mean!" I whined, my voice almost sounding like a five year old.

"Sounds like your problem, not mine," she commented, even from here I could hear the smile in her smooth voice.

"Some friend," I shouted back at her.

"I know," she said in girly tone, as she came out of the bathroom. I groaned in defeat and sat up on my bed. "It's about time," Sadie said to Anne. "I thought she was never gonna wake up. If she didn't wake up I was gonna pour a glass of water on her," she stated grinning evilly. Both her and Anne were already ready dressed in their uniforms.

I glared at the two of my friends in annoyance. "I hated you guys," I said frowning at them as they smiled widely at me.

"Love you too!" They said in unison. I jumped down from my bunk landing with a thump. I walked over to my clothes chest and grabbed my uniform before heading into the bathroom to change out my pajamas.

"We'll be waiting outside. You better hurry," Anne called after me, before I heard the door to our dorm close. My uniform, which looked exactly like Anne and Sadie's, consisted of a black blazer, a black neck tie, a white button up white shirt, a plaid (green, blue and silver) skirt, and a pair of black flats.

After finally finishing getting dressed, I quickly brushed my teeth and fixed my golden honey brown hair into my usual high ponytail. After I exited the bathroom I headed over to the door and left my dorm.

"Could you have taken much longer?" Anne questioned, an eyebrow raised in mocking way.

"Doesn't matter. We need to hurry or we'll be late for breakfast. And we all know the punishment for that," Sadie stated frowning in a worried way at memory of it.

"How much time do we have?" I asked equally worried, as we began to speed walk out of the girl's dorm. Anne looked at her watched and her eyes widened.

"Three minutes," she muttered concern in her voice. We ran down the stairs in panic, tripping a few time as we did. As we got to floor level of the dorm, we were all practically wheezing. Anne took off running in the direction of the mess hall. Sadie and I took off after her in a growing panic.
