Fun Time

Ashanti's POV:

It was already morning, but there was no sign of Four.

Alex walked into the living room with red puffy eyes. I quickly pulled her into a hug. She really looked like she needed it.

Laurance now walked into the living room as soon as me and Alex pulled apart from the hug. "Awwwe." Laurance teased. I rolled my eyes. My eyes opened up in excitement as an idea popped in the head. It looked like Alex had the same idea.

We both stepped toward Laurance and grabbed one of his arms. We both threw him onto the couch. "Hahah." We all laughed.

I started breathing heavily. "Air... Ugh... Guh... Puffer..." I tried to call out to everyone. I searched around frantically for my 'missing' puffer.

"Ashanti! Catch!" Laurance calls out to me. He throws it to me and I catch it. I put it in my mouth and I got my breathing back in a matter of seconds.

Alex's POV:

I can't believe Four actually left me... I can't... Believe it... He actually left...

Everyone sat down around the TV. I put on spongebob for Ashanti. "Again??" She asked, but we all know she's loves it. Ashanti started singing the intro. I smiled, but there was a distant look in my eyes.

I couldn't hear anything,
I couldn't remember anything or anyone,
No one was here,
Stuck in the darkness of my mind,
Nothing but me, myself and I,
There was no presence,
Not even my shadow wants to be near me, but...
Even in the darkness,
Your shadow leaves you.

I snapped out of my distant look as I realized a tear fell down my cheeks. I quickly wiped away the tear before anyone noticed.

I could see my shadow and my best friends. There were two presences. I could hear everything again, there was no silence. I remember everything. I'm not in the dark...

I smiled as I saw Laurance and Ashanti's smiling faces. It was enough to make my day. "What should we do today?" Laurance asked, turning off the TV in the process.

"How about we go to a festival?" I suggested. Ashanti stood up and faced me and Laurance.

There was a purple sparkle in her eyes. Ones I have never seen before. She smiled the brightest smile that reflects her eyes. I love her, my best friend.
