Memories
Ashanti's POV:
"Where are you going?" I asked, worry laced in my voice.
"I'm going to find an escape." He said. I could see the determination in his eyes.
We were both stuck in a dark room, no windows, no doors and no light. The only light was from a little crack in the concrete walls. I stood up, watching his expressions.
"There is no escape, except for the trapdoor-- We still don't know where it leads." I said, moving my eyes to the trapdoor in the floor.
"I'm tired of being stuck in here. I'm going to check the path under that trapdoor." He said, determination radiating off him.
I looked at him for what felt like hours, but was just mere seconds.
"I'm coming too." I said, finally gathering some courage.
"You're not coming." He sighed.
"But I won't leave you alone! I can't deal with losing someone else. Please." I tried to reason with him.
"I won't let you come with me. It could be dangerous." He argued back. I heaved a frustrated sigh.
He can be stubborn sometimes.
"I'll be back soon. If I don't come back, I'll find you again. I promise." He said, hugging me. A few tears slid down my cheeks as he moved away from me.
He opened the trapdoor and look at me one last time. He descended down into the unknown path.
I sat on the floor, bringing my knees up to my head. I put my head in my knees worrying about what may happen.
"Be safe, Anthony..."
~~
I never saw him again...
My eyes snapped open, tears streaming down my face. I was in a hospital bed. Wires were hooked up to me.
"Some... Someone there? Anyone?" I called out weakly, my voice coming out soft, but chalky.
The door opened and I saw the most unexpected person.
"A--Anthony?" I called out, more tears streaming down my face.
"Its me Ash." He said, walking slowly as if I'm going to fade away. He finally made it to me, putting his hands on my cheeks as he sat next to me on the hospital bed.
"How?--" I started, but couldn't finish my sentence. "It's okay, I'm here." He shushed me, wiping away my tears.
Anthony placed his head on mine, making our foreheads touch.
"Ashanti?--" I heard Laurence's voice from the door. I moved my head from Anthony, looking at Laurence.
"Laurance..." I called out weakly. He walked over to me, giving me a kiss on my cheek. I heard Anthony mutter something under his breath.
"I'm okay... Laurence," I said, trying not to crack my voice, "This is---"
"I'm Anthony. An old friend of hers." Anthony said, cracking a fake smile.
"I'm Laurence. Her boyfriend." Laurence said, putting his arm around my shoulders.
"When do I get out of this place?" I asked, breaking the boys little stare down. "Today." Alex said walking into the hospital room, holding a bag.
"Your clothes." She smirked. "Oh no... What did you bring me?" I asked, sarcasm laced in my voice.
"Just get dressed." All three of them said in unison as they all walked out, closing the door behind them.
~•~•~•~
I was wearing dark purple galaxy booty shorts and an lilac crop top with black and white stars.
I walked out the hospital room, looking around for Alex, so I can yell at her for choosing my clothes.
"Twins!" Alex called out as she ran up to me.
She was wearing the same thing as me, but in a different colors. She had on black galaxy booty shorts and an grayish crop top with black and white stars.
"You two look hot." Laurance teased.
"You're both out of this world." Anthony teased.
"Shut up dumb and dumber." Me and Alex said in sync.
