Chapter Five: Can't Sleep Without The Cat

*Timeskip*

After what seemed like forever Felix, 'the mutt' finally left with his owner as I lay back on the couch looking out to see that all the animals in this world have became human. 'How the hell did this happen? I wished for myself to change, not all animals...' "Cat, come here." (Y/N) called. Getting up I dashed upstairs to see that she was designing a room. "What's tyou favorite color?" "I don't know, red? I'm color blind so what's the point in that?" "It's because so that you can have your own room. You're not sleeping with me since now you're a human..." "What's wrong with sleeping with another human?" I asked her as she looked away all flustered. I sigh as she starts to do some swirls of red on the black walls, creating a vines of roses. I watch as she finishes up on the designs and hanged some photos. "What you think?" "It's fine, but why the rose? I figured that you'd put an open sky with birds flying." "Well the rose you an example of you, beautiful looking and yet can be dangerous." I blush when she called me beautiful and growled. "I'm not beautiful..." "Oh, my bad, you're handsome. Anyway, I'll get your bed and others tomorrow. Now, you sleep on the couch, your not sleeping with me." "But I've slept with you before! That's not fair!" "Tough luck." (Y/N) walked out as I stand in shock. 'Rude...' I grumble as I went downstairs to lay on the couch.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

I hear Cat complain as I go to my room to change. I sigh as I realized that I need to make videos. 'Oh well, I'll make them tommorow.' Laying down, I try to fall asleep but I only stared at the ceiling. I turned to my side to see that it was 1 in the morning. 'How long did I just stare...' I groan as I got up to check on Cat. Going downstairs, I saw that Cat was fast asleep looking uncomfortable as he slept on the couch. I sigh as I pick him up and take him to my room. 'Holy shit, he's extremely light... I know he's a cat and all, but he looks completely fine.' I thought as I laid him on the bed as he cuddled into the pillows purring a bit. I lay back watching his tail go back and forth as he slept, smiling in his sleep. 'I don't know why I brought him in here... I guess I got used to him being here with me.' I sigh before going back to sleep. I feel Cat get close to me, snuggling into my side as he laid his head on my shoulder purring softly. "Good night (Y/N), sweet dreams." "Good night Cat, sweet dreams to you too... and I thought you were asleep?" "I acted that way so that if you ever came down, you'd take me up stairs to sleep with you. I got used to sleeping with you." "I never knew you were a good acter... and I seemed to have gotten used to you I guess." I pulled him close and kissed his head before falling asleep, feeling Cat become flustered.

*Dream World*

I was in a bright open field with flowers blooming all-around and I see something off in a distance. A tree with pink petals on it as it's on top of a hill. I sit at the base of the tree looking at the sky, a sunset was happening as I heard a sigh from somewhere. "I don't understand why I love her... I mean, I'm a cat and she's a human... it can't possibly happen? It would be to wierd..." "Cat?" I asked looking up the tree to see him, but he didn't notice me. Getting up I try to get his attention only for him to see through me. "Besides, what if she already has someone? He could do better then me, could he maybe make (Y/N) more happy..." Cat said as a tear went down his face while the sky turned gray with the sun gone. "I dont deserve her, she deserves a happy life, not a complicated life... maybe if I disappear she would be happy? I don't know..." "Cat! Don't say that, I would be heart broken if anything happened to you! I care about you to much to lose you!" I cried out as he started to fade away while I try to hug him, only to go through him. Once he was gone, I fell to the ground crying. "It's all my fault that he's gone, I'm sorry!" I cried as I start to feel like I was being shaked. "Wake up... Wake up... I SAID WAKE UP (Y/N), YOU'RE HAVING A NIGHTMARE!"

*Dream World Ends*

I wake up with tears around my eyes as I see Cat looking at me in worry. I quickly grabbed him, thinking he was going to fade away. I start to cry as he held onto me, trying to comfort me. "I'm sorry, please don't disappear. I care to much about you to see you gone. I'm sorry." "Shh, it's okay, I'm not going to leave you. Shh, that's right calm down." Cat said quietly as he hugged me tight. I hold onto him as I try to calm down. Once I was calm and was only sniffling, Cat wiped away some tears and kissed my head. "I will never leave you (Y/N), I promise you that." "O-Okay." I said as he held me close, purring softly as I cuddled into his side. "Now, lets go back to bed. I don't want you being tired in the morning." I nod and lay my head against his chest, hearing his quick, but soft beating heart. "Good night Cat..." "Good night (Y/N)." Was what he said before I fell asleep, feeling comfortable and a kiss on my head.
