The Man in Her Nightmares

(Mika's P.O.V)

I looked around at the trees then down at Inuyasha, it was still dark and the fire we had going was out. I sighed softly and played with Inuyasha's red coat that was around him. I started to hear foot steps and looked around the dark woods. I tried shaking Inuyasha but he wouldn't wake up.

"Inuyasha.... Wake up..." I said softly still shaking him but nothing worked. The foot steps ran up behind me grabbing my waist and mouth so I don't scream, he pulled me away from Inuyasha and pushed me hard against a tree, his face....N...Naraku?... I thought. He smirked and put his hole arm through my stomach, pain shot through me as I gripped his arm tears running down my cheek.

(Inuyasha's P.O.V.)

Mika and Kagome was still asleep as everyone packed things up. I looked at Mika watching her toss and turn, I walked up to her and tears were running down her cheek as she gripped her stomach, she gasped for air like she couldn't breath and was in pain.

"Mika...Mika wake up..." I shook her very worried, she wouldn't open her eyes.
"Mika...wake up....please wake up..." I picked her up holding her.
"Inuyasha what's wrong..." Sesshomaru asked but I couldn't answer because I didn't know.

(Mika's P.O.V.)

He pushed harder and after a couple of minutes he let go pulling his hand out letting me drop to the ground. I gripped my stomach wound crying into the ground. I heard him laugh but it started to fade as I heard Inuyasha's voice.
"Mika...Mika wake up...." He said. I...I'm dreaming? I thought, all of a sudden everything went dark and I quickly opened my eyes seeing a worried Inuyasha holding me. I quickly hugged him tightly crying into his neck, I felt his arms tighten around me.
"Mika...what happened what's wrong?..." He asked worriedly. I couldn't get the words out because I was to busy crying. After a bit of crying and him holding me a lot, he even carried me while we walked to find another village to get supplies, he noticed I stopped and walked behind everyone so we could talk.
"Mika what's wrong?.." He asked and I looked up at him with puffy red eyes. He wiped the rest of my tears away that was on my cheek.
"I...had a nightmare....b...but it felt so real...." I said.
"What happened in your dream." He asked and I looked down telling him, his eyes widened a little in shock, he gripped me tighter as he held me close to his chest.
"This dream...its happened before...when I was sick..." I said and he nodded remembering when he had to wake me up from it.
"I'm sorry you had to carry me..."
"Mika...don't worry about it I just want to know your ok...." I smiled up at him and he put me down softly, Sesshomaru noticed and walked up to me.
"How you feeling?" He asked.
"Better...I'm sorry if I...scared you or made you feel uncomfortable."
"No...I just wanted to make sure you were ok...I was worried." I smiled, you could tell he was trying to find the right words to say in front of Inuyasha so he won't know that Sesshomaru had feelings for me.
"Don't worry anymore, I'm ok." I smiled up at him and we all started walking again. Everyone talked to me making sure I was ok when we came up to a village that didn't look so good.
"Inuyasha... I...I sense a jewel shard..." I said and he looked at me.
"You sense a jewel shard?..." He asked me like I've lost my mind. I sighed and walked off.
"Hey...wait..." Inuyasha and the others ran up to me as I walked towards the direction I sense the jewel from. After a bit the ground started to shake and this fat worm looking demon came out of the ground, bearing a lot of sharp teeth. I backed up into Sesshomaru looking up at the demon who lunges straight at me.
"Give me the jewel shards girl!!" Sesshomaru grips my waist and jumps away holding me as the work face plants into the ground.
"Are we playing a game of catch girl?" The demon asked and Sesshomaru landed on the ground letting me go. Inuyasha lunged at the demon with his sword and only cut the demon. Its to strong we have to get the jewel out of him so we can kill him. I thought to myself.
"Ohhhhh I'm a nut job, I run up to Kagome and grab the bow and arrows she's holding and start shooting the demon to irritate it, anxiety runs through my body as I see it look at me.
"What is she doing....Mika!" Inuyasha yelled and I squinted my eyes shut as it lunged down at me and swallowed me.

(Inuyasha's P.O.V.)

Everyone was in shock I...I was in shock... My hole body shook in anger and my heart....it felt cut in half. The demon laughed but then stopped something was moving inside it. An arrow cut through it and Mika fell out in the ground holding the jewel shard, the demon shrunk in size and wasn't that scary anymore. I killed it very easily this time. Mika got up and had worm crap all over her, she had a face of disgust.
"Y...you ok?" I asked and she just walked away. "Where are you going?"

"To take a bath...I'm going to go find a hot spring..." She said.

(Time skip to after all that and Mika comes back the villagers come out of hiding.)

(Mika's P.O.V.)

We get to stay at the village for tonight for defeating the demon. They had a small festival for the demon being gone. Inuyasha and I walked around and he grabbed my hand making me stop and look up at him, he smiled ever so sweetly.
"I got you something." He said and I smiled as he held out a beautiful necklace, and on the necklace was a glass container with a blue rose that glows in the dark, pedals from the rose surrounded it. It was very pretty. He put it around my neck and pulled me close to him, we kissed very passionately as I gripped his kimono. I smiled in the kiss, I love him so much.
