Red Moon

Red moon of Vegas in the morning, if they're weak they're not showing it with a million miles underneath their feet. There's nothing left not even the smell of defeat. Nothing left as far as the eye can see, the enemy has fled at the sight of our face. Something the home front wish that they could embrace. But instead they leave without a trace. I'm not ready for the sand to hit my face. This I swear that no one will hear them coming as they leave the land trembling.  Their words cut you like a knife, as she tries to end your strife with another life. Another spark in her eye as she waits for the next fight. Out of sight out of mind, this world is so blind. Close your eyes tonight, and step into my world I dare you. Show me how to live and let the eagle fly over the stars and stripes. Believe me I'll be gone without a trace.
