Chapter-3

4 years later. Mackenzie's P.O.V

Its been officially four years since I ran away from home to be honest I don't miss anyone but my mom, I have been calling her everyday these past few years anyway its past 12 so I should get some rest.

My alarm clock went off at 5 a.m I groaned and threw my alarm ops, 3 one I break this month, oh well. I get up from my soft and warm bed and walk to my restroom to take a quick shower after my shower I get dressed into some black ripped skinny jeans and a turquoise tank top as I'm brushing my hair and looking at myself in the mirror, my hair is dirty blonde with brown eyes which reminds me so much of my mom. Funny thing is I changed so much these past few years I became the bad girl at my school, I am a street fighter and go by the name "Dark Devil" I also do car races, I basically own the streets, I also lost so much weight you could say I have the body any girl would want, nobody back in my hometown would probably even recognize me. As I finish brushing my hair I realize I'm late for school but I don't care I take my time making my way down stairs and realize I'm 20 minutes late so why not ditch. I go back to my room change to some sweatpants and a T-shirt, jump on my bed and watch Netflix with alot of snacks. A few hours later I get a call from my mom I answer it "hey mom" "hey sweetie how have you been?" "Good how have things gone over there?" "Good" My moms voice kept cracking I had a feeling she was hiding something or something bad happened "mom are you alright?" "Oh sweetie you don't know how much I m-miss y-you " my mom said between her sobs "I miss you too mom" "please come back" I thought about it do I want to leave California and all my friends? I mean no but it would be nice to go back to my home town..finally I decided "yes mom, ill come back" "Good because I already bought your ticket for tomorrow so I wouldn't take no as an answer" of course she hasn't changed a bit  she never takes a "no " for an answer. I laughed "alright mom ill see you tomorrow I'm gonna start packing" "alright sweetie love you" "love you bye" I hung up the call, I ditched school , went into my closet and grabbed my suit case and started packing

A few hours later I had finally finished packing right now I'm texting all my friends to tell them to come over for some bad news. I waited around 4 minutes they were finally here. I opened the door "what happened?" They all said together
"Im leaving tomorrow back to my home town"
"What?!??!" They all said I took a deep breath
"My mom wants me back home she already got my ticket and I'm leaving tomorrow"
"But you cant leave our group wont be a group anymore if you aren't here!" Jennifer said
"Sorry guys I have to go back but I promise ill visit during christmas break and summer break ill even Skype y'all everyday"
Everyone looked like they were thinking then they all nodded their heads
"Thank you guys so much for supporting me on this"
"No problem kiddo as long as you come back" Mason said, I laughed. He's always the funny one
"We will be here tomorrow at 5 a.m." Jacob said
"Ok"
After we watched movies, ate pizza , and talked that they all left, I'm gonna miss them so much.

My alarm clock went off at 4 a.m. I threw it and  it broke, oh well. I got up and went to the restroom to take a quick shower. After my shower I went into my closet to get the last outfit that I saved for today, it was a pair of light blue skinny jeans with a black and white flannel and a white undershirt. As soon as I finished getting dressed I went back into my restroom brushed my hair and teeth. Then I went downstairs grabbed my black vans and slipped them on. I had all my stuff ready in half an hour so I made myself breakfast.
It was now 5 a.m. And my flight got here at 7 a.m. So I still had time. The doorbell  rung I opened the door and was greeted by my crying friends which started making me sad just thinking about what good friends I'm leaving behind but I haven't regretted my decision. deciding not to waste anymore time I brought them all into a group hug then all of us started crying. Except the boys because their "tough"
"Im gonna miss you so much" madison said between her sobs
"Im gonna miss you too, I'm  gonna miss all of yall so much"
We spent the rest of the time we had left together laughing and talking. It was finally 6 and I had to start making my way to the air port, I said goodbye to my friends and got a taxi since I dont have a car yet, usually Mason comes and picks me up to take me to school.
I arrived the airport at 6:30 I still had time to do so I took a seat and started reading a book.

It was finally 7 and it was time for me to board the plane, I got in the plane and looked for my seat I started thinking about my revenge I'm gonna get on everyone when I go back to school, of course if they still go to the same school.
Its been 3 hours and The plane finally landed. As I made my way out of the plane I grabbed my luggage and started searching for my mom. As soon as I spotted her I ran to her when I reached her she was shocked
"Mom I missed you so much!!" I said while hugging her tightly
"I miss you too sweetie you have grown up so much, you look so much better"
"Wow thanks mom so I looked ugly back then?"
"Oh..well.. Um no you were beautiful but your more beautiful now"
I laughed "lets go home mom"
On our way home we talked about my sister and how basically everything stayed the same here.
We finally arrived I was kinda nervous because I was gonna see my sister after 4 years, I think my mom noticed and said
"Dont worry melody is at a sleep over today and tomorrow" I sighed in relief. We got out the car and went inside the house, I told my mon I was gonna go and unpack upstairs. As I walked upstairs memories came flashing back and I relized how much I missed this place, I opened the door to my room it looked the same every since I left the walls were still purple the bed still had the purple and white flower sheets my desk was still were I left it, everything was where I had left it I could tell my mom kept it clean in my room while I was gone there was not one trace of dust. I walked to my closet took out all my old clothes and threw them in a bin I then filled my closet with my new clothes that I brought from California I then grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top and walked into my restroom to take a quick shower. After my shower I changed into my pjs I then walked down stairs "hey mom"
"Hey sweetie"
"When am I gonna go back to school?" I said
"I was hoping you could go back on Wednesday  and tomorrow we can go shopping for some clothes for you?" My mom said
"Sure mom well then I should go ahead and sleep for tomorrow good night mom" I hugged my mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
I walked to my room and let sleep take over me.

Tylers P.O.V
I am currently at school getting really annoyed of Melody and her friends, I still cant believe its been 4 years since Mackenzie left. The bell rung and bought me out of my thoughts I walked to class I was in a pretty bad mood because Melody, thinking about Melody I heard there would be a new girl coming to school on Wednesday hope shes hot.
The bell finally rung and it was time for lunch
I arrived the lunch room and headed to go sit with my bros
"Whats up tyler have you heard the new girl thats coming on Wednesday?" Jack said
"Yeah man I hope shes hot"
Everyone nodded.
Lunch Was finally over I walked to class and the rest of the day went by a blur

Melodys P.O.V
As I walked into the school I spotted Tyler he's gotten hotter these past few years. My sister left 4 years ago and she hasn't been back to thats good I bet shes obese by now I laughed at the thought. I walked up to tyler and started talking to him it looked like he wasn't listening
"Tyler?!!??? Hellooooo???!!!!"
"What the hell do you want Melody"
He yelled which made me flinch. Since I couldn't get his attention I just walked away to my girls to catch up with gossip.
"Have you heard about the new girl thats coming on Wednesday?"
"Yes! I heard shes hotter than Melody"
Now that made me mad,
"Who's the new girl?" I asked
"Oh no one knows all we know is that shes coming on Wednesday" one of my girls said
"Well we will put her were she belongs because only I can rule the school"
The rest of the day I thought about this new girl.
