--THE TIME IS KINDA A MEANWHILE OF THE LAST CHAPTER--
-Louis’ POV-
-“They just left,” Liam announced coming into the kitchen with Harry trailing behind. I assume they meant the police, it was probably obvious to someone who’s brain wasn’t working through liters of goop. My brain hurt from trying to process too much all at once. New realizations, often unrelated, would emerge every so often but I imagine I won’t be 100 percent till next week.
-“What did they say?” Emmy questioned from where she was sitting a seat away from me at the big kitchen table. After the accident, which turned out to be right outside the house of my girlfriend Eleanor’s family’s vacation house where she was staying with Emmy Liam’s girlfriend, all of us just decided to spend a little while here. We all fit fine as the Calder’s house was quite big; everything in it was big and grand and polished like the house appeared.
-“They didn’t tell us much, not even what they would be charging her with. They were taking her to the hospital first anyway.” Liam continued taking the spot between me and Emmy, forcing my feet off the chair first.
-“Did they tell you what they were charging Sian with?” Zayn eyed Harry carefully as he said this. Harry was being too quiet-too quiet for Harry and especially too quiet for the Harry who wanted to be a lawyer and already knew some about police charges.
-“I don’t know if it was because we aren’t adults or what, but we really didn’t get anything beyond ‘this one’s going to the hospital and we’re taking this one with us.’” Liam sighed. I averted my eyes to Harry (no Larry sorry but shush) who was standing in the doorway looking away from us.
-“I wish we’d gotten some kind of information” Nia piped up looking completely sullen. I couldn’t give her a single ounce of blame though, if I found out that my best friends was a blackmailer and arsonist and possibly murderer of her sister, I would react way bigger than a sour look on my face.
-“Me too,” Niall agreed his gaze still affixed to his coffee mug. A silence settled over the room leaving all of us to our own thoughts. Another ‘random realization’ hit me with the fact that El had be living over Brittany and all of her weapons; I had no way of knowing what the police found in there. And no way to know what could’ve happened and I probably didn’t even want to know what else Brittany had planned. Bad enough to kill; at the least.
-I was broken out of my horror movie of thoughts by the creaking of the kitchen door opening. Eleanor came in carrying the pitcher she had gone to get from the living room. “Perrie woke up,” She informed us. “Zayn” She added sticking her tongue out at him; he’d been fidgeting nervously the entire time she was asleep. He rolled her eyes at her and left into the living room.
-“Is there a person missing?” Eleanor asked putting the pitcher in the refrigerator. Knowing immediately, I looked up and sure enough Harry was no longer there.
-“Harry,” I answered.
-“Let’s go find him,” Niall stood up and Liam and I followed. We went out the kitchen door and into the hallway. I loved Eleanor and her parents were lovely people, but it was always hard to relax in their house-or houses, since it was true of the one in Bradford as well. Everything was perfectly polished like you shouldn’t touch it, and glass like you could break it easily. It didn’t help either that it smelled strongly of lemon cleaner.
-“He’s probably outside” I voiced realizing the two boys were staring at me waiting for me to have a plan seeing as I was the only one who’d been in the house before. I still got lost though, to many rooms and hallways and every room had multiple doors leading into it.
