Her Best Friends Story

Chapter 2

*DING*
Ash; I'm ready. I just stormed out of the house.
Me; Everything okay? and I'm on my way
Ash; yeah everything's fine. I'll be waiting on the porch.
"she always says everything's fine when really it's not. and she's not always fine. i just wish i could help." Mel thought to her self.

She got her things from her closet and walked down to Luke's room.

" Luke I'm going "
" Yeah okay. Bye! See you later loser!"
" Bye butthole "

She walks down stairs and kisses the twins goodbye and then grabs her keys from the counter and leaves. She pulls up to Ash's drive way and Ash hops in.

" Jack in the Box? " I ask
" You know it! " Ash replies

Since they go there every morning and one of their classmates work there they already know their order. So once they walked in they were already making their food. While they were waiting Ash gets a call and from her facial expression it looks pretty serious.

" Hey everything okay? Who was that?"
" That was the hospital. They said my mom was found passed out on the drive way and my neighbors called 911. They said to go to the hospital ASAP!"
" Okay. Let's go. We can get our food later."

" ...Umm your food is.."
" Sorry Michel we have to go" I say cutting him off and we walked out.

The whole car ride to the hospital Ash was quite and I could see tears were running down her face.

"Ash it's going to be okay"
" Yeah I know. I'm just tired of her doing this. One day it's going to be the hospital telling me she's dead."
"Ash..don't think that way. Just be happy that it wasn't that call today. You'll never get that call."
" I hope "

They arrive at the hospital and Mel pulls up to the curb by the main entrance and tells Ash to go find out what room she's in and that she'll meet her there. Ash goes to the front desk and asks the nurse,

" Hi do you know what room Donna Evans is in? I'm her daughter."

"...Evans...Evans..ahh here, she's in 324"

"Okay thank you!"

"No problem"
