Chapter 10 Pt 1

• The Next Day •

I am so glad I finally told Brad how I feel. I feel like weight has been lifted off my chest. Even though we have to hide our relationship from everyone, its better than hiding it from each other. I get up and make my way to the kitchen. I slowly make my way to the counter getting a bowl for cereal.

"Hiya babe" Ashton said sitting down at the counter

"Holy fu- what are you doing in my house??" I screamed at him

"Woah calm Abi.. We are just here to see you and remind you about the party tonight?" Joey said to me reassuringly.

"Oh yeah yeah. Sorry..." I said. He had his hair slicked back and he actually looked pretty cute surprisingly. "Ill be going tonight"

"Not looking like that though I hope" Ashton said while laughing. I looked down and I was in my fuzzy pajamas and my hair was a mess. I looked at him meanly and remembered the plan. I need to look nasty with him. I fluffed my hair more. I poured milk into my cereal and ate it really gross. I had milk dripping down me. Ashton looked at me kind of weird and then laughed.

"You are too cute" he laughed and wiped the milk off my face. I sighed and put the bowl in the sink. I turned back around.

"Hey we are going down to Tris' to invite them to the partayyy! Do you wanna come with?" Joey asked

"YES!" I shouted "Yeah, yeah" i said after realizing I said the first one too loud. I ran back into my room and brush my hair out a bit. I put on some shorts and a tank with my vans. I walked back out into the room and walked with them to Tris' house. When we got there we just walked right through the door, no need to knock. We walked into the living room to see them all watching a movie.

"Hey guys!!" Connor yelled once he noticed us. They all jumped up and gave each of us a hug. I hugged Brad and whispered in his hear that I missed him. I felt his warmth and love back. He stepped back and winked.

"So all y'all are invited to a party tonight!" Joey said and all the boys wooed.

"James you should invite Rebecca!" I said enthusiastically while looking straight at him.

"Uhh.. Yeah i guess" He said while scratching the back of his head.

"Yay awesome!" I said happily. I went and stood next to Connor and whispered "You need to invite Elle over as well. She can come to my house before if she wants"

All the boys were pretty excited about the party.

• A couple hours later •

As I was getting up from the couch to get ready, I hear my phone buzz.

Brad: We need to get alone time tonight. I cant stand not kissing you

Abigail: only if your lucky ;)

I sent that text while laughing knowing I was a tease. I went in my closet settling with a black mini dress with high top converse. I put the dress on right when the door bell rang. I ran to the doorbell not having time to change out of the dress. I opened the door to see Connor and Elle.

"Well hello there" Connor said while eyeing me up and down. I gave him a push on the shoulder. "This is Elle! Elle, meet my best friend Abigail!" We both said hi and shook hands.

"Here come to my room! Con you can just stay in the living room or whatever!" I said while taking Elle's hand and took her to my room.

"So! You need a dress!" I looked through my closet as Elle and I conversed and she told me about her life and so did I. She was actually a really cool girl and we liked a lot of the same things! "This dress is perfect!" I held up my short red dress that would look perfect on her. She grabbed it and changed into it and looked amazing! "Oh my god! You look amazing!" She blushed and gave me a hug while thanking me.

"So do you have a boyfriend?" Elle questioned

"Well.. Uh.. Its a long story but yes" i laughed a bit but she looked confused "You will find out sometime"

We made our way out of my room and to Connor. We got out my house and made our way to Tris' car. All the boys were outside already while we were walking up. All the boys started to whistle while we just laughed and brushed it off.

"Abigail!!!" Rebecca said while running up to me and hugging me. I awkwardly laughed while patting her back.

We all pilled in Tris' car. I moved to the back of the car and Brad managed to sit next to me. It was an awkward 5 minutes of Brad and I being quiet and everyone else laughing and not paying attention to us. Brad put his hand on my leg. He turned his head and put his mouth to my ear and whispered

"I cant hide it anymore"
