Cecil arrived at the Radio Station just in time to find Sherlock and Carlos heading out the door.

“I need to talk to Sherlock, now,” Cecil could barely contain himself.

The Sherlock followed Cecil into the library, near where Cecil had seen him and Carlos not two hours before.

“What do you want?!” Sherlock snarled at Cecil, nostrils flaring.

“Jawn is dead, and it’s your fault.”

Sherlock’s eyes widened, his façade broken. “How?”

“The Hospital. He jumped off of the roof. He lost so much blood there was nothing I could do. The last thing he asked for was you, Sherlock. He asked for you.”

Sherlock’s face seemed to darken. “I have to go. Tell Carlos it’s over. I need to leave this town, NOW. I can’t… I don’t know. I just…” Sherlock couldn’t speak anymore, his eyes glistening with tears.

Cecil knew that Carlos would be broken up, but he let Sherlock leave the station through the back door. Sherlock’s coat flowed behind him, like a black flag waving in the wind. Cecil headed down the front corridor. “He’s not coming back. Jawn is dead, and it’s because of what Sherlock did to him.”

Carlos sighed. “This was going to happen eventually. I just wasn’t sure when.”

Cecil headed for his microphone. He needed a release, and the radio was always there for him. Before he could sit down, Carlos grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. “Cecil?”

“Yes, Carlos?”

“I’m sorry for taunting you, using Sherlock as a fling.”

Cecil didn’t believe what he was hearing. “Carlos, are you telling me that what happened in the library-“ he stopped himself, and the look on Carlos’ face showed the depth of what he had said.

Carlos stammered, “You saw that? Sherlock and I were talking it out, and I guess, I just hurt too much.”

“Why didn’t you tell me before that you loved me? I used to fantasize about you all the time, Carlos.”

“Cecil, I don’t know how to say this. I just couldn’t get myself to talk to you. If we fall in love, it will consume us. You know me. I won’t be able to hold back. And you’ll realize how broken I am and leave me, and then I will be even more broken. I can’t bring myself to hurt you.”

“Carlos. I fell in love with you the second I laid eyes on you. I want to be with you forever. Don’t ever withhold yourself from me. I want all of you.”

Carlos’ eyes dampened. “I love you Cecil. I don’t know why I hadn’t said that before.”

“I love you too.”

Carlos blushed. “Cecil, I hate to be blunt, but I may or may not be exceptionally horny right now. And  all I can think about is you. Are you…”

Carlos didn’t even have to finish the sentence before Cecil grabbed him by the collar and led him into the library.

“You know it, Carlos. I’m so ready for this.” Cecil was cut off mid-sentence by a warm, soft kiss from Carlos.

“I know you are.”
