You glanced at Lapis, watching her eyes flicker and glisten over the rolling waves. "Isn't it beautiful?" She sighed as she laid her head on your lap. You both watched the sun slowly sink down past the horizon, caressing her blue hair as it slipped and glided through your fingers. The sound of the soothing crashing of the waves along the shoreline made your eyelids grow heavy, and before you knew it, you felt yourself slip into darkness.
