It was summer break, and summer meant having fun. But here Ten was, stuck in his room with a bunch of art projects. Don't get him wrong—he loved art. But for the past two weeks, he had been stuck behind his laptop, trying to finish his art project and submit it before the deadline. A deadline that was in about 5 minutes.

Oh, screw my life! he thought, frustrated. He could finished it a week ago if his beloved childhood friend Doyoung hadn’t distracted him from his project by kidnapping him to go to the cinema; Doyoung was too afraid to watch horror movies by himself and didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of his crush, Jaehyun.

The next day his sister Tern had distracted him by asking him to accompany her to the hairstylist. She wanted to dye her hair blonde; it was her first time, and she needed her brother with her in situations like that. It was a sweet gesture, but it wasn’t as sweet anymore when he nearly died of boredom for the next 4 hours.

Even his puppy Bingo was no help at all. When Ten had been about to save his progress, Bingo had jumped onto his arm, making his laptop fall and break. It needed 3 days to be fixed, and since his progress hadn’t been saved he had needed to start his project all over again. He really wanted to curse (which he did, of course, in Thai).

Finally finished, he clicked the enter button to submit it to his professor. Finally, he could have time for himself. MANSAE!

He took his backpack and packed a couple of t-shirts, his wallet, and a bus ticket. He glanced at his iPhone on his bed, but shook his head. No, he thought. He wanted to bury that phone deep in the ground so that no one could annoy him and ruin this "healing time." He looked around his room once again, grabbed his cap, and slung his precious camera around his neck. "I am ready," whispered Ten, an excited grin forming on his face.

The bus ride to the train station was very peaceful, and Ten had a happy smile on his face. It was nice that, for once, no one was asking him this or that, and he could finally have some time for himself. But as soon as he arrived at the station, his smile disappeared. The station was super busy, almost completely packed. Ten pouted, disappointed. But he couldn't back down now—he had already gotten the ticket and he didn't want to get disturbed again by his friends, family, or even puppy.

With a new determination, he started to pushed his tiny frame through the hundreds bodies that were much bigger and taller than him. (Okay, so maybe he only 170 cm. What could he do?) Ten nearly gave up because everyone was pushing him around so much in the station. Suddenly, an elderly man stepped on Ten’s shoelaces, causing him to trip. "SHIT!" he shouted as he shut his eyes, ready to fall face-first onto the ground. Damn my life, he thought.

But instead of falling to the hard floor, he was welcomed by a soft yet muscled chest. Looking up, he met a pair of sleepy yet beautiful eyes framed by glasses. The stranger flashed him a cute grin. What the hell? 'Cute'? thought Ten, mentally berating himself for that.

Taking a better look at the stranger in front of him, Ten realized just how tall the boy was—much taller than himself for sure, and with a bigger build overall. Ten also thought the boy was quite attractive, and he had a bit of a foreigner vibe about him too. Great, now I’m crazy for sure! He made another note that the stranger was holding something in his right hand—a black guitar case, he supposed.

"Are you alright?" asked the handsome stranger.

"What? Ah, y-y-yes ... Thank you," he answered, stuttering with surprise.

The stranger only smiled charmingly in response.

Ten sighed internally. This was gonna be a long ass ride ...
