Ding... ding... ding...

The bell confirmed that the train entrance would be closed soon. Ten tried to run to get onto the train, but suddenly he felt a strong hand pulling him toward the train entrance, and in a second, Ten was pulled onto the train. He tried to collect his breath, and after his heartbeat became normal again, he realized that there was still a hand holding onto his. Ten looked up and received a huge grin from the culprit.

"We did it!” said the stranger from earlier.

"Yeah. And you can let go of my hand now," blurted out Ten.

And the response he got was that the said person didn’t let go and kept smiling at him innocently. Weird.

"Um ... Excuse me, I mean now?" Ten gave him a if-you-don’t-let-go-now-I-will-bite-your-hand look. Ten was not really into skinship, and especially not with a stranger he had just met couple minutes ago. Even if it was an attractive stranger.

"Oh. Okay." The guy let go of Ten's hand

Now, Ten had to find a seat if he didn’t want to keep standing for the next 4 hours of the train ride. He started to walk around, looking for a seat and ignoring the handsome stranger from before who kept looking at him. Ten looked around the train and luckily found a couple of seats that faced each other all the way in the back. He bounced up toward the seats happily, a huge smile plastered on his thin, pink lips. He sat down and put his backpack on the seat beside him.

Now he could relax and finally enjoy some time for himself. He planned to visit an isolated village outside Seoul, where he heard there was a beautiful waterfall. Ten wanted to have his healing time there, far away from noise he was used to hearing in his daily life in Seoul, and finally, after so many busy weeks, he had the world to himself without any interruption. Once again, a happy smile bloomed on his lips, but not for long. It disappeared as soon as something black invaded his sight—a black guitar case, to be specific.

"Oh! Hi!" greeted the same guy from before. He was waving happily to Ten.

Ten pouted.

"Can I sit here?" asked the stranger, pointing to the seat opposite to Ten.

Ten stood up and, looking around the train, realized that these were the only empty seats. Ten sighed. "Sure."

"Really?! Thank you!" answered the handsome guy happily. Whatever, thought Ten.

It became silent again. Good, Ten thought. Now he could relax again. He looked out the window and saw how nice the sunny day was. He opened the window to enjoy the summer breeze that caressed his face. He didn't realize how the other guy was staring at him with a warm smile on his face.

"Hi, I'm Johnny," he blurted out, smiling handsomely.

Ten looked at him questioningly.

"What’s your name?" tried Johnny once again.

Ten just looked at him again now with a weird look; Ten didn’t talk to strangers like this, just as his grandmother had always taught him since he was a little kid.

"I know you may think that I'm only a stranger that you met a couple of minutes ago, but I don't do any harm. I'm clean." Johnny grinned.

Oh, now it became weirder. Can he read my mind? Ten wondered.

"And I couldn't read your mind. Just a lucky guess—your thoughts are written on your face." He smiled.

Ten touched his own face and pouted with embarrassment. He had heard a lot from his friends that he was like an open book.

Johnny laughed. "It’s okay, it’s cute!" he said, still smiling. "Now tell me your name?"

"Ten. It’s Ten," he whispered.

"Ten?" Johnny asked. "You mean like one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine ... Ten? That’s so cute!"

Ten's cheek became red. He was used to hearing that he was cute, but to hear it from a stranger was a bit embarrassing. Ten could only nod.

"I-I-I'm Thai, by the way." Great. It was the second time he had stuttered in front of the guy. But Johnny only smiled at him and it became silent once again. Ten didn’t mind, though; this kind of silence was somehow warm. The summer breeze kept floating around them and suddenly made Ten very sleepy. Taking a short nap won't hurt, Ten thought.

Another bell confirming that the train had arrived at his station woke him up. Ten opened his eyes and was welcomed by another pair of beautiful brown, almond-shaped eyes framed by glasses only centimetres from his. Ten even can felt his breath caressing his face. What the hell?!
