When we got back to my place I put lil mama car seat down.

"Can I take her out?" I asked Leah.

"Yea go head."

I grabbed her and she immediately started smiling.

"Hey lil mama"

Leah was still standing in the door with bags in hands Shivering.

"You okay?"

She nodded her head no. She looked up and tears rolled down her face. Pain is what screamed in her eyes. She was tired not physically, but mentally.

She finally broke down.

"Come on" I said putting mya on my hip and taking leah's hand to my bedroom. I put a now sleeping mya on the bed and made Leah sit on the bed.

"Here ma'" I handed her one of my t-shirts.

"I have my own clothes."

"I know."

We just sat there staring at each other.

"Your really beautiful...you know that?"

She smiled and looked down.

She looked back up when a serious manner.

"You make me feel...Safe. a lot of people told me about you. Said that you're heartless, why do you care about us?" She looked back at mya.

"What about your mother? Did you talk to her?"

"Yea while I was in the home I told her I was fine, she was worried to death of course, but i didn't tell her where I was.
