Mackenzie’s P.O.V
My alarm clock begins playing Roar by Katy Perry as I stretch my arms over my head and sign remembering that I’m leaving today; Leaving California and possibly not coming back. Shannon, Harry and Louis were coming with and I was glad for that but there was still a shadow of darkness filling my head especially when I think of Liam. I kept the not even though they tried to hide it from me, I don’t even think they know that I have it. I pull it from my purse that sits next to my bed and ruffle through it until I find the wrinkled piece of paper. The words are the same as they were before, vague and unforgiveable even though in the note he begs that one day I’ll forgive him.
Babe,
I’ve got to leave very soon and I know when you wake this is what you will find instead of me. Hopefully you will never see me again but know that I will always love you, no matter what happens. You are the sunshine to me in this world full of darkness and I would do anything for you. I hate that I have broken the promise I made but everything will work out, that is a promise that I can keep. I hope that at some point you will forgive me for what I have done but I will understand if you don’t.

I could feel the tears as the begun to spill from my eyes but I had to stop them so that if Louis came early to pick me up he wouldn’t see me like this.
Shannon and Amy had come over yesterday and helped me pack but had left shortly after as Shannon had to pack as well and Amy had some stuff to do. Amy said her goodbyes to me as she won’t be able to make it to the airport today to wish me and the others goodbye. Eleanor will be coming to the airport to say goodbye to Louis and get on a flight back to Manchester so she won’t be coming with us to Paris. Shannon and Harry are coming as well so no need to say goodbye to them. Emily plans on flying out in a few week as well as Amy and Niall for V-fest in London which they have planned for Harry, Shannon, Louis and myself to attend even though there’s a possibility that Liam will be there. My mom and Dale, her boyfriend are in Paris so I’ll be seeing them while I’m there. Matt and Emma; my older sister and younger brother are in Paris as well though for different reasons. Emma is there on a trip before she goes back to Oxford for her senior year, Matt is there with Mom and Dale since he’s 17.
The tears had finally stopped after I had gotten out of bed and put the note back in my bag where hopefully no one will find it. I quickly jump in the shower, washing my hair and face quickly before getting out and blow drying my hair to more success than I did yesterday. I pull half of it up since my hairs so thick and it tends to get hot, I tie the small pony will a small hair tie and walk back into my room. I pull the outfit Shannon picked for me to wear to the airport out and begin getting dressed. The outfit consist of a white blouse that ties at the bottom and a pair of skinny jeans, she matched my sandals to my bag which are both a light brown. Looking over myself in the mirror, I look presentable and cute. The outfit is confortable and light, my locket from my dad hangs around my neck and Liam’s promise ring is still on my ring finger even though it’s from Liam and a constant reminder of his broken promise. I grab my white watch and put it in place on my wrist where it stays. My suitcase sits by my door and so I quickly pull my phone from its charger, my headphones, and Divergent since I’ve been meaning to read it into my purse before I set it next to my suitcase. I run to the bathroom where I brush my teeth thoroughly before rinsing and sticking my toothbrush in my suitcase. I apply a quick swipe of lip gloss and then I’m ready to go. Airport time!
