*1:30pm*

My hair was up in a high bun and I had a tight medium length skirt on with a white shirt. I was only wearing a little makeup and I had put a clear nose piercing in. I was wearing black slip on shoes and walked Into the coffee shop.

"Hello, I'm Tamika. I have a job interview today"

"Oh yes, hello Tamika! How are you?"

"I'm good thanks, yourself?"

"Wonderful, thanks! just come with me"

I followed her into a room and we talked for a bit. She asked just simple things about my age and what times am I free. How many places had I worked at before, simple stuff. We finished up and she told me she would get back to me as soon as possible.

I walked out of the coffee shop and had seen Jai sitting on a park bench!

"JAI!"

I ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"How did it go baby?"

He asked.

"It was good, I mean I think I did good!"

I laughed

" we'll we just gotta hope you get it now!"

He smiled.

We walked home together, hand in hand and the wind blowing! When we got into our street he looked at me and asked

"Who's house?"

"Any."

"Yours"

He said smiling!

I laughed and got my key and unlocked my front door once we got to mine. We walked up and into my room. Jai took a sit on the bed and nervously asked me..

"Tamika will you come to Disney Land with me?"

"UM OF COURSE"

I jumped up in excitement

"Yay.. But I planned it for this Saturday coming, and we catch the plane to America on Friday"

"Yes Yes Yes!! That's okay oh my god Jai! I can't wait!"

"It's going to be me, you, Luke and Beau. They are sharing a hotel room and so are we"

"I can't wait this is amazing"

He hugged me and I kissed him on the lips! We ended up falling asleep, me in his arms and us both on my bed.

*thursday morning*

"Morning Beautiful"

Jai said as he kissed my cheek.

"Morning"

I said stretching my arms out.

We both got up and went downstairs. I saw my mum sitting on the couch her eyes glued to the tv. Jai told me he's going home to finishing packing and he will see me later. I guess this is the part where I tell mum.. Not really excited for her reaction.

"Hey Mum, I need to ask you something"

"Yeah sure darling, what is it?"

"Jai invited me to go to Disney land with him Saturday and the flight is tomorrow."

"Oh okay sweetie. As long as you are careful"

oh wow, mum took that ALOT more better then I thought.

"So that's it, I can go?!"

"Yes. But you must contact me somehow every day! And be careful, and make sure your always with someone and make sure ..."

I cut her off..

"Yes, yes yes, mum I get it."

"Great! Mine turn to tell you something now..."

"Okay, go tell me!"

"This is hard for me to say but, I've been seeing someone"

'Ive been seeing someone' them 4 words are the words I've never ever wanted to hear, how could she. My mood instantly went to shit. But of course I'm going to lie and act happy for her, when really I'm heart broken.

"Oh really, that's good. How long have you been seeing each other for"

"About a month.."

"Oh I'm really happy for you."

I fake smiled, she hugged me and I went into my room.

I texted Jai

"Hey, can I come over. ~bad mood~"

"Sure babe, come now! <3"

An instant reply.

I left and told mum where I was going, she said its fine but I can't be long.

I knocked on the door and Luke answered.

"OH HAY GURLLLL"

Luke put on an accent.

"HEYYY DERE"

I laughed.

He let me in and I went up to Jai's room and told him everything that my said.

"Maybe he's right for her! Maybe it's the one thing to make her happy."

Jai said trying to cheer me up.

"No, she promised she wouldn't do this."

A tear fell down my cheek.

"Awwww. Don't cry"

Jai ran over and hugged me as tight as I could.

"A week after my dad funeral my mum told me, she would never be able to fall In love again. Her heart belonged to my dad, no one else! She told me if she ever fell In love again, she wouldn't forgive herself. She told me she wouldn't do this. She blamed herself for weeks about my dad passing away. She thought she wasn't quick enough to get him to the hospital when he was sick. This is everything she promised not to do. I'm happy for my mum, I just don't want to see her hurt and then her hate herself"

Jai's grip tightened around me.

"Everything is going to be okay, no matter what happens. I promise. She may be with someone else, but her heart will always belong to your Dad. And he would wanted your mum to be happy, not feel alone and have to watch you grow up by herself"

"I love you Jai, you always know how to make everything better"

" I love you too"

He smiled while leaning In and kissing me...
