Pov: Ashley
Monday mornings. The day birds sing, the skies are crystal clear. How wonderful.(note the sarcasm). After I jump out of bed, I go take a warm shower and I wear a white skirt with a maroon crop top. I grab my favorite sneakers and slip them on. I run downstairs only to realise I'm actually quite early for school.

"Bye Mum! On my way to Starbucks," I scream.
" Okay. See you later!" my mum answered from the kitchen.
On my way to Starbucks I hear someone shout my name from a distance. It's Conor, one of my best friends. If you didn't know, I like to hang out with the guys. Ever since Conor moved to our school, I didn't have to hide my love for gaming anymore. Anyway, Conor is running towards me panting and after 1 minute of him trying to recover he says,
"Hey!"
"Sup Kidfury. On my way to Starbucks. Wanna come?"
"Sure. Where's the others?"
"No clue, but can we go already. This one over here is getting hungry." I say as I point to my stomach.
"You're always hungry Ash," he says while chuckling and shaking his head.

After we got to Starbucks, we headed to school, the place every teen dreads. As we enter the school, Conor and I are complaining about who's better, Batman or Superman.
"Oh please! Batman can't even fly."
"Excuse me. Conor, Batman is rich and hot. Oh and his car is goals."
"Who cares if he's rich. Superman has a girlfriend and Batman is sad and alone."
"But Batman has Wonderwoman so ha!"
"But it ain't official so haha!"
"But Superman weakness is krypton so hahaha!"
"No but..."
"Goodmorning Ashley and Sir." Conor was interrupted by Franklin, my other friend who's considered a nerd. But he's alright just sometimes he gets really weird.
"Hey Franklin!" Conor and I say at the same time and I smile at how we do that all the time. It's really weird but he's one of my dude best friends, so it's understandable.
Then two seconds later Lexi, my girl best friend grabs my hand and says "Hey guys! Can I borrow her for a second. Cool thanks!" she says without even waiting for the guys to answer and then she drags me to her locker and shouts
"Congrats child!!!"
"Huh...? For what?" confusion is written all over my face.
Then she giggles and once again she drags to the notice board which says " Our new VOLLEYBALL CAPTAIN:" And in bold letters was my name. I jumped with excitement. I've dreamed about this for....well forever. I hugged Lexi, more like squeezing her to death and said " Thank you! Wow this is crazy. Volleyball captain." I was literally jumping and then I ran to Conor and jumped on him.
"Ow! What the heck Ash." he said laughing.
I let go of him and then screamed,"I'm VOLLEYBALL CAPTAIN!!!"
"what thats amazing, but I already knew you were gonna be captain." he said hugging me properly.
"Aww thanks Conor." I said as his hands are still around my back.
"No you really deserve it." he said and we're still hugging until a someone coughs and we awkwardly let go of each other.
Franklin looks at us with his eyebrow up and I know he's trying to tease us but I always ignore it because Conor and I are just friends.

"RING!!!!" the school bell breaks our silence and we all groan except Franklin of course.
"Ugh I got history now." I complain.
"Same," Conor said.
"Me too." Lexi adds.
"Cool then we go together. Wait where's Wendell? I haven't seen him all morning."
"Oh yes. He's mentioned something about a hotdog competition." Franklin answers.
"Classic Wendell." Conor says and we all laugh. After that we had to go to our classes.
Hopefully I don't fall asleep...
again.

What do you guyz think? Its pretty boring but it will start to build up hope u like it.
