2am Wake up Call

Chapter 5......💤💤💤

Pov : Conor

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing.   Someone wants to FaceTime me now... at 2am.  So I answer it.

"Hey Conor!"  it's Ashley.
"Ashley go to sleep." I groan.
"Well goodmorning to you too."
"Ashley what do you want?  I was having a dream about...never mind." I hesitate but I yawn at the same time.
"Well I was doing my homework, which took like 3 hours and then I finally finished.  After that I went for a run and saw this super cute puppy and it needed to be adopted so I decided to adopt it then I went to buy dog food.  Oh! and then after that I realised I wanted something to eat so I bought a tub of ice cream for myself.  Damn!  It was delicious.  Then I watched Netflix with the puppy in.... "

"Ash!  Get to the point. I want to sleep."  I complain.
"Ugh!  You're no fun.  Anyway I want to have a sleepover at your house.  So you invite your friends and I invite mine." she says in a lively voice.  Why is she so alive?  All I can say is Ash will always be weird... in a good way though.

"So you FaceTime at 2am in the morning so you can ask to have sleepover at my house? " I ask trying to make sense out of her madness.

"Yep!" she answers while popping the 'p'.
"And you won't go away until I agree to something that could've waited til the morning"

"Yep!" still popping the 'p'.

"Fine now go to sleep!  Goodnight Ash."  I mumble and just before I cancel the FaceTime she says, " Thank you Conor!" in a cute and babyish voice making me smirk.  The things I do for her.

***4:45pm,  Saturday

Well the sleepover is at 5:00pm, which is in 15minutes. 
"DING! DONG! DING! DONG! DING! DO...." I quickly answer the door and it was Ashley.

"Do you have to press the doorbell 20 times?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Yep!" she answers and in her hand was a puppy.
"Is this your new addition to your family?  What did you name it" I pet the fluffy sleeping creature.
"I don't know what to name him yet." she says looking down at it smiling.  Then suddenly he jumps out of her arms and runs to my garden and starts running around.  Ashley and I laugh and play with it.  When he finally got tired, he sat under the big oak tree panting and Ashley and I followed.  We sat down and waited for the rest of them to come.

"Okay let's name him."  she says crossing her legs.
"Conor Jr." I smirk.
"No.  You're not that special Kidfury."
I put my hand on my chest and say," Ouch!  Ashley that went straight to the heart." and I fake cry.
"Oh man-up." she laughs.
"Okay.I suppose you have a better name."
"Well ....yeah...no." and she shrugs.
"His name should represent something legendary.  Like how my name means great awesomeness." I say cockily.
"Ha! Oh please. Your name probably means the rubbish in a land fill site."
"Yours probably means pretty girl with no brains."
"I have you know I have some brains...idiot."
"Sure.  We still don't have a name for him." I groan.
"Ooh! I got one.  Clash."
"Clash?" she better have a good reason.
"Well think about it.  Because we fight a lot, he can represent how we always fight each other."
"I'm still not convinced."
"Ummm... and if you spell Clash, C for Conor and Ash for Ashley." 
"That's actually pretty clever.  Guess you do have some brains after all." and she sticks out her tongue at me.
"Wait, what does the L stand for?"  just as I ask, Lexi arrives with Macy, Kate, Melissa and Taylor.  There Ashley's guests but why did she have to invite Macy and Kate?

"Hey guys!" Ashley greets in her usual cheerful voice. " Let's go inside. Conor you coming?"
"Yeah." but then Wendel and Franklin arrive then the twins Tanner and Matt.

We all do our guy hand shakes and join the girls inside.  Then after 5 minutes the door bell rings.  I don't remember inviting anyone else so I ask Ash but she didn't either so I check the door.  Great...

"Who invited you?" I question rudely.
"Conor that's not very nice to talk to your friend." he smirks and then the twins say " We invited him!"
Did they have to invite Jake?  He's just gonna annoy Ash but of course she would say the more the merrier so I let him in.

"Goodevening ladies." The girls jaws drop, except Ashley, and Melissa whispers to her "I can't believe you got the two hottest guys in school to be in the same room with me."

"Thanks!" Jake and I both say at same time and she blushes as she whispered too loudly.

"Anyway, the girls will take the guest bedroom..."
"and the guys will take my bedroom." she smiled as I completed her sentence.

" And we'll meet back here in 10 minutes so we can play some interesting games."  so we all split up and when to our bedrooms and met back at lounge.  I wonder what Ashley has planned for us.
