The Return Of Superman (Do Kyungsoo)

Kyungsoo wakes up to the sound of chatter from outside. He reaches his hand to the side and finds your side of the bed empty. He rolls around in the bed, bringing the covers up to his ears to drown the noise, he could really use another hour of sleep because the filming of his new movie ended pretty late last night. But the universe seems to not cooperate with him, because he hears the door clicks open and soft little pats on the carpeted floor before there's a heavy weight on his stomach.

"Appa! Wake up!" the cheery voice of his daughter rings inside the room, and he feels her little fingers poking at his cheeks. Kyungsoo opens his eyes to see his daughter smiling so bright at him, "Appa, the Superman ahjussis are here!!"

"Superman ajussis? Ah, that." Kyungsoo finally remembers it's his first day of filming Superman Is Back as a new family, replacing the last family that left the show. "Are you that excited, Haneul? You like spending time with Appa?"

The excited nods of his daughter brings another smile up to Kyungsoo's face and he doesn't feel really tired anymore. Maybe it's what people say about the joy of being a parent.

Kyungsoo is about to go to the bathroom to prepare himself for the day when the door opens again, revealing you already in your work clothes and an empty duffel bag on your hold.

"Ah, oppa! You woke up already? I just wanted to wake you up but I guess Haneul already did that for me." You land a light peck on Haneul's forehead as you make your way to the walk-in-closet to pack some clothes. "I already made you breakfast, oppa. It's on the table, okay?"

"[Y/N]...." Kyungsoo whines as he walks to you and wraps his arms around you from the back, "Can you just not go today?" He pleads. Don't get him wrong, Kyungsoo's excited to spend time with his daughter but the thought of taking care of her for two days straight by himself is kind of scary.

"I thought that was Haneul's line. Oppa, you can do this. I know you can." You chuckle, "I'm just a call away if you need my help." He buries his face deeper on the crook of your neck, tightening his arms around you. "Don't go."

"Oppa, you know I have an important schedule today." You turn around to face him, "It'll be over in just two sleeps. Two sleeps and I'm back at home again."

He looks up with his big wide eyes, "Really?"

"Yes. Oppa! You make me think I'm taking care of two babies here! You and Haneul! Even Haneul is looking pretty relaxed with this. I think I know why" You smile, "Oppa, Haneul missed you so much. You haven't spent much time with her lately. With your solo album coming up and the filming of your movie. She asked about you a lot, you know."

"Really?"

You nod, "She asked about you when I picked her up at daycare, she asked about you when dinner, she asked about you before sleeping. There are so much things she wanted to show you."

"Oh my God.. I'm an awful father, aren't I?"

You run your fingers through Kyungsoo's hair, untangling the soft black locks. "No, you don't. The fact that you feel awful because you think you spend so little time with her is making you not a bad father. You just work hard for our family, and Haneul and I can't thank you enough for that."

You two stay in each other's arms for a few minutes after that. You know Kyungsoo still feels a bit bad after knowing how much he made his own daughter missed him, but you know he'll make it up through the program.

"Now go brush your teeth and take a bath. I'll meet you on the dining room."

[Interview Room]

PD-nim : Please, introduce yourself.

Kyungsoo : *bows to the camera* Annyeonghaseyo, I'm singer and actor, EXO's D.O or Do Kyungsoo. *laughs awkwardly* I'm a father of 3 years old, Do Haneul.

PD-nim : Have you ever taken care of your daughter by yourself, without your wife?

Kyungsoo : *shakes his head with a bashful smile* I haven't before. It's usually the two of us with Haneul. But I play with her a lot when I'm home.

PD-nim : What did your wife say about you joining the show?

Kyungsoo : She's so happy, you know! [inserts laughter sound effect here] But she said it'll be a good time for me to bond with Haneul because I've been so busy lately.

PD-nim : Please tell us about your daughter.

Kyungsoo : Her name is Do Haneul, 3 years old. I was married to my wife five years ago, Haneul was born two years after that. We were faced with a bit trouble having children before we had Haneul, and we are glad that Haneul was born healthy.

After Kyungsoo is done with taking a bath and dresses himself, he makes his way out of the room. There are a few tents to hide cameras set up in his living room, and there are few cameras set up on the walls also. The PD greets him and introduces himself before going back to his hiding place with the other writers.

Kyungsoo finds you and his daughter on the kitchen, munching on their breakfast. He sits down and joins them as well.

"Haneul, will you be okay without mom for two days?" Kyungsoo asks to his daughter who is sitting on her high chair.

"I will! I have appa!" she replies, but then turning to you. "But, omma! No more that two sleeps, okay?" You give her an "ok" sign from where you're doing the dishes.

After breakfast is done, it's time for you to go. You lower yourself to be at the same eye-level with Haneul, "Haneul, be good to appa, okay? Don't give him any trouble." Haneul nods and kisses her mom on the cheek, "Have a good day, omma!"

"I will, baby. You too." Haneul's done, now the second baby in the house. "Oppa, have a great day with Haneul, okay? You can do this!"

Kyungsoo kisses you on the forehead, "Don't have too much fun while I'm not there." he threatens, but his voice lacks any venom. "I can't promise you that, oppa. It's been a while since I went out without Haneul."

"Ya! [Y/N]!"

You can't hold your laugh, "Arraso, arraso oppa. Trust me, will you?"

When you're done with tying your shoelaces and grab your car key, you finally bid goodbye. "Bye Haneul! Bye oppa!"

[Do Kyungsoo and Haneul's 48 Hours start now!]

Haneul keeps waving at you until she can't see your figure anymore, and then she turns around at Kyungsoo. "Appa, what will we do today?"

"Let's see what's mission omma gave us."

"It's on the fridge daddy. Next to my drawing!"

[Do Kyungsoo's Mission!]

1. Give Haneul a bath every morning. She will try to get out of it with thousands of reasons she makes up inside her mind, but you have to!
2. Please cook lunch and dinner for her~ I can trust you in this one, because you are good at cooking! But if you need more recipe ideas, just search at the second drawer on the left!
3. Nap time at 2PM! ^^ but sometimes she's okay with not taking a nap but if you do something requiring energy before 2PM, I suggest you to make her takes her nap because she'll get cranky later if she doesn't ^^
4. Bring Haneul to somewhere educational! She likes museum and aquarium so much!
5. Bring Haneul to your work place to make her see what kind of work his dad does. It's good for her.
6. Just survive this 48 hours?
