Casted to Shadows

My voice is vanquished to darkness when I enter a lair of shadows, demons, and spirits. Welcome little one a voice calls. What.....what do you want I asked back. I want you my little flower he spoke back. But why? I asked. My little nine- year old body couldn't take it. Because you possess something different than any other child ever......... An angel soul so pure, but the fighting skills of a Shadow and this is why I must have you he barked. But I don't understand I said. He grabbed by the neck and I fell to my knees and lay there unconscious.........

I woke up in a pool of sweat and fear. That dream was true and didn't make sense. Morning Mo coeur Matthew said. Is everything alright? I guess, just a nightmare I said. Matthew came over and held me right in his arms to feel safe. He laid his head to my shoulder and my head to his chest. Come Mo coeur me must talk Matthew called to come to the study.

Mo coeur we need to talk about survival among you and I he asked. Ok....... Am I being hunted down or something I ask. Yes which is why you need to learn to overcome mind powers. They might take over your mind and let you do something you don't want to do he said. How will I do that I ask. Well, since you can talk through and read minds, you need to learn control Matthew said.

We stayed in the study for about two hours learning about the brain control and how to master it. We went to the dark room with the mats and Matthew brought out one of his men.  Yazi welcome, are you ready. Yes... My lord Yazi said with a snarl. He was a shadow shifter through to human and animal to creep through the darkness. Begin Matthew said to both of us. We bowed and started. Yazi tried to make my mind go blank but it reversed and I made his go blank. He stayed on contact and tried again. He made me slap myself but only for a second. I tried again and made him speak words, do different things, and kneel to his knees. ENOUGH! Yazi growled and then with anger for being defeated. Well done Mo coeur you have mastered the brains control center Matthew said with a smirk.

Bring in Drakas , Yazi Matthew said with softness. Yes my lord Yazi said and to bring Drakas. Drakas.... This is your time to train my soulmate Matthew said. Mo coeur , you will learn the knife trick to the shape shifters way to get away. Ok... I started to say until he handed me a knife for Drakas to be the target. I let the knife curl through my fingers and then to let it fly through the air to hit him in the thigh. I felt confident when I threw it. Drakas was furious and let his shadow shift into a enormous black dragon. DRAKAS ENOUGH....Matthew said with a growl, he thought Drakas was going to hurt me. I had enough of this nonsense and held up a knife to throw it and hit him right in the other thigh. I caught him through the the shifts and was stuck. I was happy but Matthew was furious and leaded me out of the room for him to calm down Drakas.......

I was so furious with Lily throwing that other knife , he was already furious and in pain. Once Drakas was calm , I healed the wounded part of his thighs and Drakas left. I had a " little" talk with Lily. She might think it's all fun and games but I'll tell her it's not funny....... ITS SERIOUS. What were you thinking Lily!!! Drakas is more powerful than you think, you saw him turn into that enormous dragon. But you said I had to learn, you said to give it my best shot Lily said sounding sexy but angry. Mo coeur, you just can't stab him like that and leave him to wallow in pain I told her. I started to cup her head to my chest to hug her and she fell for it.

How come he's like that Lily asked. He lived a terrible lifestyle, Childhood, and lived with dark parents, you can't change that I told her while nibbling on her neck. Lily left to take a shower being sweaty from training and all. I went to meet Staben to guard the house while I was gone to search for blood for Lily. Can I come Lily asked. Mo coeur you know you can't come, and you know why I told through the temples of our minds. Please Matthew she kept asking. Enough Mo coeur I'm gone, get some blood from the freezer and relax, enough of this nonsense I told her. Fine she said sounding angry but sound sexy while doing so.

After an hour or so I found some blood and brought it home, finding Lily in the study after placing the blood in packs in the freezer. Mo coeur are you ok i asked her. She was reading one of my favorite books : Casted in the Shadows of Darkness by Sharna Draw. Reading what do you think Lily said sounding mad. Mo coeur I got some blood come I asked of her. Lily got up to walk but I grabbed for a hug and kissed her on her temple. I tried to cheer her up and it worked.
