Bloaters might seem threatening at first but they're actually not if you have a flamethrower or Molotov cocktail. If you've not guessed yet, they're weak to fire. Use those two things and you're likely to kill them instantly with two hits. But be careful of their spores it kills you in seconds.
Runners have the name runner, they sound really fast. But they really aren't. Just out run them if you get crowded.
Stalkers are the most intelligent infected of all. They hide behind objects and purposely sneak attack you from behind. That's not all like all Infected they have claws but, their claws are the most deadliest. They can be dealt with 2 ways physical combat and range combat(firearm,Molotov cocktail,and bombs).
At several points in the game, you'll make your way through a room or a building filled with infected who are "asleep." They're not moving and can't see you, and won't react unless you make a lot of noise. If you're careful, you can get through those areas without alerting them to your presence, and can even grab all the loot around them. There's no real reward for killing zombies, so save your ammo and materials and just sneak around them.
