The next day of school I was walking down the hall to chemistry. I sat in my regular spot again all alone. Then this girl walked up to my desk with long white hair and red eyes but I'm pretty sure they were contacts. Also there was a mysteries scar on her face.
"Is this seat taken?" She asked.
"No," I said quietly. So she took a seat beside me and I was thinking why would she take a seat beside me.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Lexie," I said quietly. "What's yours," I said.
"August," she said.As we were talking this boy in the front of the classroom acted like he was coughing and called us losers.
"What was Steve?" Mr.Sawyer asked.
"Nothing I just had to cough sir," he said.
"Well maybe you should go check that out in the office," Mr.Sawyer said. While Steve was leaving the room everybody was laughing at him. Mr.Sawyer went back to teaching.
"Why is your hair white and what's that scar from?" I asked.
"Because my mom dyed my hair white and my mom cut me with a piece of glass," August said. "Why do you have makeup covering your cheek?" She asked.
"How did you notice?" I asked.
"Because you missed a spot," she said.
"Oh because I got home late so my mom slapped me," I said while holding on to my cheek. We went to the rest of our classes that needed partners and the bell rang.
"Time to go home," she said.
"Can I walk with you?" I said quietly.
"Why not?" She said. Well we walked to our houses together and when I got home, I went to the roof to lay down and look at the stars. When I got up there I saw a shadow on the other roof and it was August she lives right beside me.
"Hi," August said.
"Hi," I said back. We talked about how much we had in common and then we went back to our rooms to go to sleep. If you like this chapter please comment so I know if to write more thank you.
