Morgan woke up with a twitch. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness once again, and looked around for an escape as she did so everyday. She was tired of being chained up. She could escape yes, but was waiting for the right moment.

They captured her when she was born. She used to live in a old shack. Which wasn't very supportive. They found her in the arms of her dead parents. They thought that it was the plague which killed them, they were wrong. A knight brought her into his arms to keep her safe, and was ordered to bring her to the castle for safety . As soon as the child had touched him, he was killed. Of course they would bring her food to stay alive in her cell. But only the leftovers.

Her clothes were sagging over her skin. She was wearing a pale green dress with tears and stains.  Not very often she got a new dress. She closed her hands into tight fists and felt as the metal began to weaken. A frost started to spread from the chain bracelets to the ground. When both chains were completely frozen, she gave them a big tug and they fell free from the ground. With a grunt she got up, and held to the wall for support.  She looked at her arms and pulled up her sleeves. She waved her hands over each of them at a time and the cuts were gone, as well as the pain. She started to walk down the tunnel and stopped to grab a torch, careful not to put it out with her magic. She seemed to gain her strength by the second. She started walking slower, then saw the entrance to the main dining hall. There was a huge table full of food,  but she wasn't permitted to eat any of it. The royals were dressed in fine clothes. Except her. The last time she saw the dinning hall was when she was just a little girl. Morgana never saw a room this bright before either.  Then something flew passed her eyes. Then more objects flew by. Little snowflakes. A vortex of them were affecting her vision.  She was nervous. When reached the arched door which was open, she saw a haystack for the horses. But Inside? Then she had a plan. Morgana quietly walked up to it and placed the torch upon it and stepped back. The room began to warm up. She watched in satisfaction, as the fire of the torch started to consume the hay. "Fire!" A knight yelled. As soon as he saw her fair face. His voice began to sound angrier. "You did this didn't you, yo-u monster!" He yelled. No tears came upon her face. She just felt more anger, which changed into strength and power. She cocked her face to the right, giving him a challenge. "Call me that one more time." She said with bravery. She got her hands ready to charge at the man. Flexing her fingers. "Monster. " he said. Her heart skipped a beat. She whipped her hands in his direction and he turned frozen in his place. She. Moved her hand to the left and his body fell to the floor and shattered to pieces. Ice was scattered all over the ground. Melting by the second. She looked in the royals direction. With their terrified faces.

Perhaps she was a monster, but she wasn't done yet. The king began to charge at her with his silver sword. He swings at her waist. She grabbed his sword with her hands before it could touch her waist. Pain traveled through her hand. She watched in slow motion as drops of blood tumbled to the ground. Without herself realizing, the sword began to freeze over, the mans hand, which was holding the sword had began to turn blue. "K-kill m-ee." Said the king, with his voice weakening. Morgana wanted to kill the king for her entire life, but she didn't want to do it now, she wanted to savour it. "I wouldn't do that your majesty, because that would be too easy." she said with a smirk. Morgana took the sword from him. She started to run out of the castle. Which was quite simple, because of the fact that everyone was afraid of her. She lifted up her dress, and opened the wide oak doors and got ready to go down the stars.

She was amazed of what it really looked like outside. Being stuck in a small environment for your entire life, anything could of been better. There were huge trees, which were dappled with snow. A river which was partially frozen. It was all too much for her. But now was not the time to admire scenery. It was time to prepare for battle and escape from the castle.

She grabbed the rail to guide her and quickly, ran down the stairs. Once she was on the bottom, she hid behind a large spruce tree. She sucked in a large breath to keep calm, She heard footsteps in the distance. Or was her heartbeat? She let out her breath and watched as her breath expanded in to the air and watched it dance. Morgana flinched. She heard a twig snap. She felt someone wrap their gloved hands over her mouth. She tried to scream, to get attention for someone to save her but then she remembered. No one was on her side.
