(A/N: I'm really proud of this chapter title!)

I could feel myself healing. It was almost a miracle. Jellal had Gajeel and Natsu escort Wendy out of the fortress. He was kneeling beside me watching as Levy, also known as the Diamair, healed me. I convinced him to follow the others, and once he was gone I asked, "Is it true you know everything?"

Levy nodded, "Yes."

"Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead, Zarina. But be wise when asking."

"The destiny is said that Jellal will be the greatest king and will unite the lands of Albion and that I will be the greatest sorceress to walk Fiore. But I had a dream..a prophecy..about Jellal's bane. That he would die at the hands of a Druid. But is that true? What is Jellal's bane?"

Levy stared at me intently before replying, "Jellal's bane is himself."

"Arise Lady Wendy Marvell, knight of Fiore," Jellal said, after knighting Wendy.

Wendy stood before Jellal proudly. "Thank you, sire. I am proud to be your knight."

"Erza!" Jellal called. "Could you show Wendy to her chambers?"

"Sure!" I replied.

Wendy approached me and I helped her take off her new, red Fioran cloak.

"If Jellal figures out you lied to him about those magic rings," I began to say. "I know for a fact you still have magic."

"I know," Wendy said simply. "But you have magic too. Yet he trusts you with his life."

"I suppose," I sighed, leading her to her room. "But why did you protect Jellal like that? I thought Minerva was your friend and ally?"

"The friendship that binds us together is stronger than the power we wield together. But it seems that Minerva has forgotten." Looking up at me she added, "I may have stabbed her, but she's going to live. She is a High Priestess now. No mortal blade can kill her."

"I see," I said. But as I walked to Porlyusica's office to retire for the day, I couldn't shake off the feeling of suspicion.

Jellal will die at the hands of a Druid girl..For the sake of the destiny, I can't let this prophecy happen!

"Maybe you're just overreacting," Porlyusica suggested. "Do you want to take a sleeping tonic?"

"No," I grumbled, watching Wendy practice sword fighting with Jellal from the window.

"Are you jealous he doesn't pay attention to you anymore?" the physician asked with a hint of a smile. "Because this morning he asked me where you were and I told him you were still sleeping."

I flushed pink and snapped, "I am not jealous! Why would I be jealous of a little fifteen year old who's probably a traitor?!"

Porlyusica narrowed her eyes, "Ah. So you think Wendy's the Druid girl of the prophecy?"

"What other Druid girl is there? She's very close to Minerva."

"She stabbed Minerva, Erza."

"Yeah, but Minerva's not dead. She said no mortal weapon can kill a High Priestess."

"Why don't you talk to Igneel?" Porlyusica suggested.

Grandeeney gently set Minerva on the grassy ground of a valley and curled up beside her master. Instantly, Minerva's wounds began to lessen and the High Priestess stirred.

"G-Grandeeney..Thank you.."

The white dragon nuzzled closer to Minerva and fell asleep.

"Why do you seek the Disir?" one of the three hooded women asked.

A pink-haired woman knelt before them. "I am a Druid and I come for help."

"What do you seek?" the second woman asked.

"I want..I want to speak with my cousin's spirit."

"Your cousin..Chelia Blendy?" the third woman whispered.

"Yes," she trembled.

"You must first deliver this coin successfully," the first woman continued. "Deliver it to King Jellal Fernandes. I predict he will send out a patrol of trainee knights led by Sir Macao Conbolt. Kill one of the knights, and King Jellal will be furious. He will try to capture you. Once he approaches you, deliver the coin, Sherry Blendy."

"Of course," Sherry murmured, turning the gold coin in her hands.

"We've spotted an intruder," Macao said that night, as we sat around the Round Table. "A couple of my trainee knights intercepted a woman by the name of Sherry in the woods of Brekfar. She killed one of my men with magic."

"We must go capture her," Jellal said instantly. "Erza, you'll come of course..and Natsu and Gray...and maybe..Wendy."

Wendy perked up at the sound of her name. "Me?"

"You are a king's knight, after all. It's about time you go on your first mission."

"Got everything?" Natsu asked.

Wendy had just saddled up her horse and was rummaging through her leather bag.

"Um..I think so," she said meekly.

Gray laughed. "What? No sword?"

Wendy blushed with embarrassment and ran back to the castle to fetch one.

"Cut her some slack," I said, finding myself defend her. "This is her first mission."

Jellal approached our group as soon as Wendy came back with her blade.

"Ready?"

"Yep."

It was good to go on a mission again. I admit, teasing Wendy was fun. And so was spending time with my friends. Sometimes, I pretended Wendy was innocent and not capable of killing Jellal. But still..my instinct told me otherwise.

"Natsu," Jellal said. "Could you explain why Wendy is riding her horse backward?"

Natsu smothered a laugh. "It's an ancient tradition of melding that one must do on their first patrol, right Gray?"

"Yup!" Gray laughed.

"This is ridiculous," Jellal chuckled. "Actually, I'm impressed. Wendy, where did you learn that?"

"Don't you know?" Wendy teased. "This is how Druids ride horses!"

"Really?" Natsu asked curiously.

"No, idiot!"
