Chapter 2

I shut my eyes as the warm water hit my bare back. I always loved showers but right now I couldn't enjoy it. My mind was still processing the earlier events. I felt like I just had been stabbed in the heart as the memories flooded through my head. How could my dad do this? I shampooed my hair as the thoughts floated through my head. Once I finished my extremely short shower I changed into a plain black top matching my black jeans. Great, it hasn't even been an hour and I'm already dressing like him. I stepped out of the bathroom, heading downstairs.

"God finally. I thought you died in there." The blonde guy who bought me said, chuckling afterwords. "Well then you're stupid." I blurted out. My eyes went wide as the guys smiling face faded now replaced by anger. "What the hell did you just say to me?" He barked at me, up from his position on the sofa.  "N-nothing." I said, dropping my gaze to my feet.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you!" The guy barked as his hands made their way under my chin, lifting it up so our eyes were connected. He smirked as he sensed the fear in my eyes. "Scared already?" He asked, amused.

I swallowed the lump which was forming in my throat. This man scared the pee out of me. "Answer me!" He demanded. I wasn't sure what he wanted to hear. "I-I don't know." I answered him, dropping my gaze once again. Why was he so scary?

"How the fuck do you not know? Are you stupid?" He asked me once again. His words hurt but they shouldn't have. He was a jerk and he probably acted like this to everybody. "Fucking mute." He mumbled, walking away from me. I stood there awkwardly as the guy sat on the sofa, his eyes fixed on me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked him, gathering up the little courage I had left in me. "I'm admiring your ugliness." He responded. "You know I don't even know why I'm still here. If you're going to treat me like crap then I might as well leave."

The guy smirked at me, again. "I bought you. You can't leave me. You're mine now, you're my property now."

"I am not your property. I am human and why would you buy me if I'm ugly?" I asked him. "People blow their money on stupid stuff all the time." He replied, smirking at me as I felt something rush through my body. Anger maybe? "Might have blown all your money on yourself then." I shot back.

The guy's smirk dropped. His face hardened as my comment hit him. "Watch your fucking mouth before you say something you'll regret."  I quickly shut my mouth.  Even with his piercings he didn't look like the type of guy who could hurt people but looks could be deceiving. Almost as if he read my mind the guy removed his jacket revealing both of his arms which happened to be covered in tattoos. My jaw dropped. I don't think I've ever seen so much tattoos on a hand.

"Haven't your parents ever told you it's not nice to stare?" He asked, smiling at me. I dropped my gaze to my feet once again. I hadn't realized I was staring. "But then again they probably haven't considering your old man sold you."

I stayed silent as the mystery guy or should I say douche bag kept on rambling every little detail about me he hated. What did I do to deserve this? One moment I'm coming home from school and then the next moment I'm getting into a van with the person who now owns me.

"Go to your room. I don't want to see you anymore." The guy barked at me as if I was a child. Obeying him I ran up the stairs and into my room, locking the doors. I slid down my door, head in my hands. I couldn't think. I couldn't live like this. Even though it hasn't even been a day I know I hate him. I know I must get away from him. I need to run, for all I know my life could depend on it.
