Chapter 4

I smiled as Niall's flat came into view. I had fun and all with his friends but I'm just tired. All I want to do is sleep. "Out." Niall hissed, parking his car into his driveway. Obeying him I hopped out of the car once it came to a firm stop, my heels scraped as they met the concrete. I headed over to the front door, waiting for Niall to join me so he could open the door.

He joined me a few seconds later, his keys in his hand. He jammed one of the keys into the lock of the front door. Within seconds the door creaked open. I stepped into the dark room, my hands searching the walls for a light switch. I finally fumbled upon it after a few seconds of searching. I flicked the switch on.

I decided it would be best if I went up stairs into my room, I was tired and exhausted. As I took my first step towards the stairs I was pulled back against something hard. "Where do you think you're going?" Niall purred into my ear, his hot breath hitting the side of my neck. "My room." I answered. It sounded more like a question then a statement though.

"No your not, you're sleeping with me tonight." He said once again, making me cringe. I pulled away from him. "I'm not sleeping in the same bed as you."

Niall chuckled. "And why's that?"

"Because I don't like you. I had a whole life before me, I had a boyfriend, I had friends but no, you came along and took it all. You basically ruined my life."

Niall laughed again as if my sorrow was his amusement. "You're dad did mention something about a boyfriend. What's his name Jake, Johnson, Jonathon?" Niall asked, smiling at me. "His name is Jack." I replied, my eyes focused on his blue ones.

"Jack," Niall repeated. "common name don't you think?"

"I don't care. Why are you even concerned with my boyfriend's name?" I asked him. "I just wanted to know what your ex-boyfriends name was. Don't get bitchy over a question." Niall responded. Ex-boyfriend? No, no, no, no. "What do you mean ex-boyfriend?" I shouted at Niall. Niall smirked. "As in you guys are no longer together. God you're slow." My whole world felt as if collapsed as he spoke. It couldn't be true. I loved him. He couldn't leave me.

I smiled as Niall's snores filled the once silence room. I slipped out of his bed, making sure I don't make a sound. Once I was out of Niall's room I ran downstairs and soon out of the house. My bare feet pounded against the concrete of the sidewalk as I ran from Niall and his flat. It felt like I was running for my freedom because I partially was. After about ten minutes of running I spotted a payphone. I ran towards it. My first thoughts were to call the police but then Jack came into my mind. Without thinking my fingers dialed his number as I held the phone close to my ear.

After a few rings he picked up. His voice was music to my ears. "Jack, jack, it's me Macey." I said, trying to keep my voice low. It was pitch black out, the moonlight offering the only light along with the streetlights, you never know who would be walking the streets this late.

"Macey?" Jack asked, his voice sound surprised. In the background I could hear a high pitched voice calling for Jack. My heart felt as if it was ripped into two as I recognized the voice. "J-jack." I stuttered, pressing the phone even closer to my ear as if it would let me hear the scene any better.

"Look Mace I went over to your house like two, three days ago and you weren't there. Your old man said you moved so I couldn't really have a proper break up with you so I-"

"So you cheated on me? You fucking cheated on me?!" I shouted into the phone as tears roamed freely down my cheek. "Wow Jack I thought you were different but no, you cheated on me with Marissa, the girl whose been bullying me since the sixth grade. Thanks Jack. Thanks so much for everything. I hope you and Marissa both fall into a hole and die." I said, hanging up.

I got out of the booth. Why even bother with the cops? I would just go back to my father. I wiped the the tears which were flowing down my cheeks way with the back of my hand. As I wandered deeper into the neighborhood the more deeper I got into my thoughts. "Fucking bitch tried to run away from me." I heard an Irish accent say as I was grabbed from behind. I let out a faint scream before everything went black.
