First chapter to Bleu!!!

This is one of my first books and at first the chapters will be mostly unedited, but I'll try my hardest to catch things like spelling errors grammar errors right away.

Thank you for reading this story! I will post a song that I think goes best with the chapter but if you comment a song you think would go well with the chapter and I agree with you I will post it.

I will not be posting a cast list. I will post images of models with similar characteristics if requested but I feel like cast list don't let you imagine characters you're own way

Prologue

My life for the longest time had been lifeless.

"Carter Lena Saint" the police officer whispered as she looked down at me. Hair matted with blood, face covered in dirt, hands black and blue.

This women couldn't forget me for some reason. I was the victim at crime scenes all over Chicago, bloody and beaten every time, and every time she came to my scene she would loose a part of herself seeing me the way I was.

Helping me up of the ground, Officer Louis handled me gentle. You could tell by her touch that she was a mother.

"Miss Saint, this is getting out of hand. You need to tell us what's happening to you, why are the cops being called every time you and your 'friends' hang out, who are they and what are they doing to you" she whispered as the other officers further investigated the scene.

This women knew how she had to handle this. I was a minor, if she took me back to my house my mother would get arrested for substance abuse and go to prison this time. Officer Louis knew too much about my life for my liking, especially when it came to saving my ass.

"Nothing is happening here... Just some stupid guys came and....." I trailed off without any want to move forward with the conversation.

"The same stupid boys as last time?" she asked quietly as she wrote down my answer.

I nodded my head

Officer Louis Bit her lip, thinking hard before opening her mouth.

"Get in the car Carter" she whispered harshly

"Wha- No, no you can't take me in Louis I-I"

"I'm taking you somewhere else now get in the car and don't say anything"

She interpreted me sternly , yet I did as she said.

Sliding in the cop car I felt fear rush through my veins.

Officer Louis was talking to the other officers, lying about where she was taking me.

She walked back and got in the car calmly, glancing back at me to make sure that I was alright.

"So where are we going?" I ask nervously as she starts the car.

"Somewhere I know you'll be safe. A place that she won't have this kind of control over you anymore."

Feeling my heart stop I choke out the few words I can manage.

"She'll look for me"

Officer Louis looks at me through the reflection of her review mirror.

"Don't worry, she won't stand a chance."

So there's the prologue! Just a small start before the story really kicks off!
