His name is Lovino.

He doesn't have many friends, since he is an invisible person at his school. His only friends are Matthew, Emma and her brother, Abel; but even so, he still prefer being alone. He didn't even know how did they became his friends, and he didn't want to know how did they at all. He's just a rude, grumpy and loner Italian, a complete opposite of his younger brother, Feliciano, who's a bubbly, happy-go-lucky and friendly person; and that makes him the best and Lovino the second best- well, he's not really the 'best'. He is the worst.

Until one day...

--

Lovino walked his way from his house to the school with his head bowed.

"Lovino~!" a happy Italian called. "Wait for me~!"

Lovino stopped in his tracks to wait for his skipping brother, who clung to his arm as he reached his brother. Lovino walked again.

"Ve~! Lovino, I'm just curious," mumbled Feliciano. "Why are you always alone?"

Lovino glances at his brother for a split second before his eyes flickered to his other side.

"None of your business," he told Feliciano.

"But I'm your brother! Of course it is also my business!" Feliciano protested.

Lovino just shook his head, "You won't even understand. Our point of views are completely opposite," and with that, he pulled his arm away from Feliciano and ran, leaving his brother standing still from where he left him and a confused and worried expression adorning his innocent, angel like face.

Lovino walked to his classroom for the first period, sitting in his seat and spaced out. He stayed that way until the end of the period, not listening to his teacher the whole time. He walked out of the classroom when someone poke his shoulder, causing him to jump up and looked at the culprit.

"O-Oh, it's you Matthew," Lovino mumbled.

"I've noticed that you're not listening to our teacher and spacing out the whole period. Is something wrong?" Matthew asked, his soft and quiet voice is filled with concern.

Lovino sighed, "No, it's nothing. I am just all right. Well, we have to go now, or else we'll get late on our second class," he grabbed Matthew's hand, which startled the latter, and pulled Matthew together with him.

--

It's lunch period, and Lovino was eating alone under a tree that is located at the school's garden. As he ate, he watched all the people in his school get along with each other.

Oh how he envied the others.

Sighing, Lovino closed his now empty lunch box and stood up, walking away.

"Vino!" a feminine voice called him.

Lovino turned to look at one of his friends, Emma, together with her brother, Abel.

"Ah, ciao Emma, Abel," Lovino waved at them a little, and Abel nodded at him in acknowledgement.

"I see, you're alone again this lunch, Vino?" Lovino nodded.

"Why don't you have lunch with us tomorrow? I'm sure it'll be fun, right big brother?" Emma smiled her trademark cat smile. Abel just nodded at her.

"Yay! So Vino, would you mind?" Emma asked.

"Fine," Lovino sighed.

"Double yay! Tomorrow's going to be fun!" as she finished her statement, the bell rang.

"Oh, lunch is over. Well, see you around, Vino!" Emma waved at Lovino and skips away, her brother trailing behind.

"Bye.." Lovino muttered quietly and walks away.
