Chapter Ten. Out Of The forest.

And again I will apologize for any misspellings I might(probably will) make. If you notice any errors please comment it so I can change it.

Nell's PoV.
(Like 09.00 pm)

I don't know for how long I've been walking through the forest. Probably around half an hour. Maybe more. I'm starting to get really tired and sit down with my back against a tree trunk. My head hurts and I just want to sleep. But I don't know if the guy who 'interrogated' me will come after me.

And I don't want to sleep in the middle of the forest. I should probably get to a hospital an let someone look at my arms and legs. But then I would have to explain what happend. And I can't even tell my family what I work with. And it's hard to come up with a lie about why you have been cut in your arms and legs. But I could try to find a phone or something so I can call or leave a message to someone.

It's starting to be a little windy and I notice that I'm cold. I should really go to a hospital. I'll just say I fell through a table of glass. But I am not sure where I am. I could go back the same way I came and follow the road, I know that it isn't so long from there to a town. But for my injured legs it's still a hard walk.

After a debate in my head about the pros and cons I decide to get back to the road and take a short visite to the hospital. It would really do me good to fix me up a little. Take an aspirin. It is starting to get dark so if I would meet anyone I'll just hide behind some bushes.

(One hour later.)

I found the road and starts to walk at the side of it. I can see the lights of a car and decides to try to make them stop and drive me to the hospital. I think I will pass out of tiredness if I keep walking. I reach my hand out with my thumb up. I'm lucky, the car slows down and stops. Inside there are an old woman, maybe 70-75 years old.

"Oh god, What happend to you?" The lady says an looks a little scared.

"Can you please drive me to a hospital?" I ask and my voice cracks. She nods and gives me a smile.

"Of course dear."

"Thank you." I whisper and sit down in the car. I close the car door and the woman starts to drive. She presents herself as Sophia and I tell her that my name is Nell.

"So Nell dear, why are you in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night and why are you covered in blood?" I understand that I need to tell her something but I don't know if I can tell her the thruth. Maybe half of the thruth.

"I have been kidnapped and tortured for information about my friends but I escaped." She raise her eyebrows.

"Who are your friends, the president?" She asks with a chuckle but I can see that she looks a little concerned. Probably because I have lost a lot of blood.

"No, and I'm sorry, I can't tell you, it might risk my friends lifes." She nods. I look out of the window, we are in a city now, didn't even notice.

"We are soon at a hospital, do you want me to come with you in there?" I shake my head.

"No thanks, I'm good." I smile at her. She is really kind. I can see the big white building with the word 'Hospital' on it. She stops the car.

"Here we go." She says and smile at me. I give her a hug, trying not to bleed on her.

"Thank you for everything, you might have saved my life." She hug me back.

"Nothing to thank for dear. Be careful now." I step out of the car. I'm glad that despite of all the evil people in this world there are still a lot of kind and caring people. I enter the hospital and get immediately reminded about how much I hate the hospital smell. I go to the reception.

"Hey, I need a little help." I say and the receptionist looks up. I have a t-shirt so it's easy to see every cut on my arms and my pants are bloody and you can see the cuts in the fabric on my pants. Her eyes goes wide, it's probably not so usual that someone walks in covered in cuts and bruises. She nods and calls for a nurs with a wheelchair. I sit down and relaxes. I fall asleep before she has time to ask what happend.

I hope I can skip school tomorrow😀
